I will be watching the game with our young un his father in law is a Wigan supporter. So he will be shouting for them but i will be rooting for Leigh.Special day for me i will give a clue the postman should have some cards for me.As a Fev supporter i loved our games against Leigh in the Championship. Now they are challenging for a Grand Final place and we are in dire straits. 26-12 to Wigan but i hope i am wrong.

Anyone got a time prediction on Degsy's Saturday evening drunken email?

Both the time claimed by Wigan and the correct time (even if its only a few minutes out)

I just hope IF Leigh do get to the final Degsy doesn't make it all about HIM!!!

I don't think Wigan have ever been so universally backed by neutrals to win a game - well done Del.

In terms of the game I think it'll be tight first half as you'd expect but Wigan to turn the screw after halftime.

I'll go wigan by 8

Score prediction 16-8

Sorry to say it but I do hope Wigan win this one. And they should do, they are a much more complete side than Leigh.

What about Wigan team selection - Miski or Eckersley? Byrne or Dupree?

Weather forecast is pretty poor for this one. Rain and gusty winds. With that in mind I think we'll need strong kick returns to eat up the metres and that's where Miski clearly has the edge over Eckersley. If it was a dry day and if our attack hadn't been up to scratch then there's a better argument for Eckersley but I think it's a Miski game for sure.

While Dupree tends to be better going forward than Byrne he's not as good defensively and can be a bit erratic and inconsistent. I think Byrne has done well in his own specific role, which is to start games well with solidity defensively. I think Byrne is the safe bet to be selected.

In any weather, I think it would've been the same team as that played Leeds but you're right, in this weather, it just firms up the argument for Miski.  By the same token, Wigan will need to try and do a job on Tesi Niu when he's carrying the ball. We've not handled him at all well this season and restricting metres will be huge for both sides.

I think Leigh will be more glad of the weather than Wigan.

Will be interesting to see Leigh’s Bench as I would have 2 good props in there tonight.

In the last game I think Leighs pack destroyed ours but that was in the midst of our usual mid season slump. I'd expect us to be much stronger in that department tonight than we were that night. Either way with the conditions its going to be pivotal.

It would be hilarious to see him argue against the allocation they would get for OT.

Leigh Leopards do not intend to fulfil this Saturday's fixture, as they are not satisfied with the 30,000 allocation they have received from the RFL. They feel that that they have been more than reasonable in asking for an allocation of 80,000.

Wigan gone 3 props. I think that will be key unless Leigh play expansive which is a risky strategy in this weather.

Both benches are looking really strong. Think Leigh are in with a shout here and conditions will make it anyones game. I reckon Wigan will just edge it though

Wigan by 10.

2009 Warrington 25 Hudderfield 16

2010 Warrington 30 Leeds 6

2011 League Leaders Shield Winners

2012 Warrington 35 Leeds 18

Challenge cups and league leaders shields everywhere! We need more silver polish!

On the bench? There's 2.
