Would that be the LED advertising boards that were there on 14th September but had disappeared by the 19th?

They were in place for the final home game of the season? And will be again at the next home game. Which fits IMG criteria. I think.

Some skulduggery going on here?

The question really is why on earth KR felt compelled to do this?

Their crazy increase has been caught out and got several others in trouble now who played the game far better.

The fact there is no genuine form of punishment in the handbook is a joke.

This was bound to happen. It's cheating and it's not on.

Clubs in gaming weak and ill thought out criteria shocker!

Doesn’t the fact there is more engagement still deliver what this metric was supposed to, I.e. making the sport appear more popular to potential investors. Most of the metrics can be manipulated and probably are to some extent.  This was the reason a number of clubs voted against the grading criteria In the first place.

Once the 12 and additional 2 are announced watch out for the appeals.  Why can’t anything be plain sailing.  The joke of all of this if it was decided on on-field performance we would be looking at York and Toulouse going up automatically with 3rd place Bradford replacing Salford, and no one would have batted an eyelid.

It’s not real engagement though, they’ll be fake/bot accounts

To be fair these could be any twitter accounts. Twitter is awash with bots and actively encourages them to drive engagement. I am no longer on it but once I reached a certain point I was picking up new random followers all the time. This of course means that the twitter stats just can't be trusted

It's all Facebook mainly.

Bar KRs youtube nonsense.

This could all actually be a big storm in a teacup.

Several clubs saw spikes on 1st September. Cas, Leeds, Bradford, Hudds to name just a few.

Seems to be either an issue with the (admittedly free) website the original KR info came from or just a coordinated bot attack that has affected everyone.

4 clubs now meet standards for stadium taking it from 14 to 18

Anyone know who the 4 clubs are

I guess Bulls are one.

Widnes have sorted out a few details that were overlooked last time around - but have not bothered with Big Screen or LED boards yet due to cost - I think if they get to a point where they could be closer to top 14 they'll invest

Judging by that article it sounds like the scores are in? So why do we and clubs have to wait nearly a week.

"That positive direction of travel has continued in 2025, with 13 clubs improving their overall score – three of them by a full point or more. "

Widnes will be one of those as i think they messed up their IMG score last year. Oldham I'm guessing another.

Yes - the guilty party has thankfully left the club.  I reckon we'll be 15th/16th

Cas's increase is down to unblocking all previously blocked accounts I think , in an amnesty/fresh start way of thinking .

This has to mean that if Toulouse are one of them then they will be in the 12?

It should be Toulouse, York, Bradford.

I fear it'll be Toulouse, Bradford, London.

I'll be delighted with Toulouse, York, London.

If it's York, Bradford, London then the game's gone.
