My question is, if the team folds and ceases to exsist anymore (which i truely hope dosent happen) what will you do?

Sack rugby leauge off altogeather?, start to follow another professional team?, support your local amateur team? Me personally am so disilusioned with the game im afraid i might just walk away from rugby leauge altogeather.

Pack in, RL is dieing a slow death sadly, brought on by selfish and greedy SL chairmen. If i were to miss RL ( 54 years a Fev fan) I'd go to Batley, Dewsbury and York.

Wish we had an up to date information about the position. I am sure fervent supporters would do their best go help.

I was born a fev fan , and if it goes then I cannot support another team , the passion will not be there , I’ll be lost to rugby league .

Batley and Dewsbury for me easier to get to than Fev .Sheffields too near i enjoy the drive. But SL not a chance.

Fev is in my blood, I’m from a rugby family. If the worse happens I’d probably go to Batley, Dewsbury or Trinity, but maybe I’d just spend more weekends at my caravan on the coast

No SL doesn't interest me enough to go,watch some on sky but imho Championship is far more competitive and enjoyable.

This last bit sums up how I feel at the moment- been a supporter since 1983 and see lots of ups and downs but never felt as disillusioned as I do currently with RL in general. I live near Goole so could adopt them as my team but it would never have the same emotional connection as I’ve felt for Fev.

whilst the current situation in terms of ownership is in place then not sure I want to hand over my hard earned cash to the club and won’t be buying a season ticket next year for the first time in at least 25 years - if rumours are to be believed then it is not clear where the money is going.

sad sad situation

I will support the new team that starts up in its place. There's a handful of clubs that's started up again, some immediately, like Leigh, and some after a year or two, like Bradford. The people of Featherstone & Pontefract wouldn't let us lie dormant for long. The big issue would be what would happen to the stadium and where would we play if the worst was to come?

I'd watch them from the bottom of the league playing at somewhere like Pontefract Collieries or RUFC, or even Kinsley Dogs until Fev Lions could be upgraded. The media would have a field day, however, if we played at Kinsley (Rovers gone to the Dogs!)

But what would happen to the land and the stadium? If it is owned only by the A Shareholders does that mean it can't be grabbed by the creditors?

Agreed I’m Fev through and through but yearn for the club to be run more effectively. All my mates are Wake fans and tell me to start going with them. They are a well run club with a rich, passionate and sensible chairman….very jealous!!!

To be honest, I've got to the point where I couldn't care less. When it was announced Paddy Handley was taking over, the club had a real buzz about the place. We had a place where we could ask questions about the club, with the formation of The Blue Wall on Facebook. Things seemed to stagnate regarding finding out any information from the club. Then in the last few weeks, things quickly developed into Handley leaving. Players and other staff  not getting paid ,as well as HMRC issuing a winding up order. Then MC returns, and a total blackout. So as I say why should I be bothered

I think this is where I am. Over the latter part of the season the club's approach was "you should support us because you should" and sent out their PR minions from the Blue Wall's Voice to shoot down anyone that didn't.

With a club the size of ours, it's definitely a two way relationship, and the club isn't managing its part at all.

Is there an end of season awards? Have we got any players? With the new companies being created, does the Featherstone Rovers that played in the 2025 season even exist?

My apologies regarding Leigh - They went into administration in 1991 and 1994 but didn't go out of business.

York went belly up not so long back. Played at POR, and local amateur team Heworth in York.  Have faith; the mighty Rovers will be there next season and ready for all comers.

Rovers are you ready?

Absolutely gutted at the fev situation. A league without fev is unthinkable. Soft spot for them since “that final” when they shoved it up moneybags Hull (I was there). Great weekend with the fev faithful. If there is any justice they will survive. Fingers crossed guys. 🫰🫰

Censorship ends in logical completeness when nobody is allowed to read any books except the books that nobody reads.

Hope you guys can emerge from this and take your place in the championship next season.

As a Dewsbury supporter I always enjoy visiting POR and can’t imagine you not been around.

Good luck!
