Looking forward to a good competitive game of rugby league. Don't think they'll be much in it tbh. KR have been phenomenal this season and I think they might just shade it. Roll on Saturday.

I just hope the game is decided by a piece of skill from one of the players and not a controversial decision.

I'm hoping it's not a slow-mo Sludge Fest. When I'm looking at this forum during the match for something to do... Well it's a shame.

The best news for the final is that the weather looks good. I hope the ref speeds it up a bit and we have a bit more of an open game than the last few. If Wigan have the nerve to move the ball a bit more, then I'm confident we can win the game. If we stick to the grind, it really could go either way.

The inclusion of French and Field far outweighs anything that HKR can threaten Wigan with, without those two I would have no hesitation in making HKR firm favourites, they make such a difference to Wigan in that without them Wigan have proved to be quite ordinary.

Without French, I would pick KR. He adds a different facet that opposition find it hard to contain.

It really comes down to whether KR can stifle his big moments.

I'd like to see a new winner, even though BF is one of my favourite players.

My prediction: 16-8 to Wigan

Hull KR must over come first grand final nerves .they did look quite nervous at Wembley . Wigan have the GF experience and that could be a factor . Never the less I'm going to plump for Rovers

Soon we will be dancing the fandango

I can see it going the same way as last year's GF and this year's semi - KR on top for large periods but getting sucker punched by French doing French things. He really is a cheat code at this point.

Rovers were there last year.

The fact it's the same opponents will be a benefit. If Rovers play like they did at the Brick, especially the defence. Rovers have a good chance, one thing we must do is take any chances that come our way.

Agree, chances will be limited and the must take them because they aren't going to shut out Wigan for 80 mins.

I think on top of last years GF experience, this year's Challenge cup success is massive psychologically for them. They got in a real mess in that game, almost choked but dug in overcame the wobble and found a way to win which is what Champions do.

Personally, although I will be cheering for KR I think Wigan will edge it,they have timed there form to perfection BUT, I think this is better KR side than last year and if they can limit errors and make most of the attacking opportunities they have a real good chance

Yes I know ,but still not got the big game experience like Wigan. I think they will be okay this time .I'm neutral though

Normally I would agree.

But Rovers have been in 4 out the last 6 big finals. And the 2 they didn't get to they were in the semi's.The other reasons (other than supporting them), why I think they might win. A) They finally won something this year, to get to finals and keep losing can be damaging, know they now how to win. B) how they won, they probably shouldn't have won the cup, didn't play particularly well, but hung in to win with the last kick (near enough). And then spent the last month pretty much seeming to try and throw away the league leaders shield, but still won it.

I worry for Hull KR in this. In previous finals, they haven't been great, including this year's Challenge Cup Final. More positively, they looked good for most of their semi final.

Wigan have been looking more and more complete. I think something like Hull KR 4-18 Wigan but the type of game where the result is never really in doubt.

I'm saying if they win this they will no longer just look the part, they will have arrived !
