My wife is a Rovers fan and although being black and white myself I will support her in this game. Best of luck to Rovers and their endeavour to be the first Hull team to win the treble and set my mob an objective for the future.

The first ever RL match I saw was in 1947 at Craven Park between Rovers and Wigan when KR were beaten. Taken by mum and dad when family home was adjacent to the old Marfleet railway station. Can still spot the house today when Rovers home matches are televised.

As a Saints fan my heart and mind have fallen out over this one but I am struggling to see past a Wigan win. For me Wigan have more composure and more of an X factor, that’s what wins these big games. I would be delighted to be proved wrong and genuinely hope both sets of fans and neutrals are able to enjoy a classic Grand Final.

I hope KR can do it because it’s a new club and a great story of resetting and building from relegation.

But Wigan know how to win it. Fully expecting another low scoring game based on defence like the last couple of years. The weather looks great this time though so might encourage a few more risks. Looking forward to a great game.

Annoyingly perhaps, I can't see past a Wigan win. I'd desperately like to see a new winner on the trophy for the first time since Leeds in 2004 but they just seem to have some sort of voodoo sign when it comes to these big games.

But regardless, HKR can take a lot of pride in where they have reached today, in comparison to those early GF years when they were playing to 1/2000 crowds and looked down and out. Hopefully they can do the job but you know the script.

Backed Wigan to win it before semis so hoping they pull through. If not would have wanted a new name in the trophy.

Predicitng a low scoring close win, Wigans extra class in French and Field and big game expereince to get them over the line.

Where do fans meet up for pre game drinks for the GF?

Wembley has some traditional places, does Manchester have the same?

Unless your team is actually in the final, pre game drinks are generally at home in front of the telly.

Manchester will never have the tradition of Wembley.

We generally go to Kargo MKT about 10 mins walk from the ground on Salford Quays. A street food style food hall with lots of food vendors and a big bar.

I prefer the game itself at OT but as others have said, the Wembley pre game experience, pubs etc are a mile better

Really looking forward to it .not attending ,but going to pub 6pm KO bit too early for me though . I think you can usually sus a game out in first 1o minutes or so ,so I will make my prediction then . Bit close to call

Soon we will be dancing the fandango

A traditional street food hall. I'll have the traditional pre-match pulled quorn bao bun with half a kombucha.

Wouldn't mind HKR winning, but think it will be Wigan 20-14. On another thread I predicted Broncos in a 9-try game last weekend so ... I've probably used up my luck.for the month and will be way out on this.

A lot tend to go to Salford Quays or Stretford pre match rather than Manchester as it's a walk to the ground instead of a tram ride.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Looks perfect conditions for the game this evening.

No rain and a playing surface like Wilton carpet.

I imagine French & Field if left untethered will run riot...

Kicking game crucial in the opening exchanges.

I hope its a classic so that RL can be showcased on television for all the right reasons because it is the greatest game...

Just glad to have a final where you genuinely don't know who will win.

Hope its Hull KR. They've got a lot of stick over the years, but I can still remember when they were one of the championship mid-table obscurity teams (although always a ###### of an away game).

Gives hope to a fan of a team where it looks like it might never happen again.

I hope it's a cracking game with no controversial calls that dominate the after match reaction. Personally, I hope HKR win it, but the Wigan machine will take some beating if they are at it. At least the weather forecast is good, so no getting soaked for some in that dilapidated stadium.
