Les Tonks Sidestep Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Looks like you're DRing with Wakefield next season. Wonder if Dewsbury ST holders will get any reciprocal benefits....? 1
Wakefield Ram Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Interesting and if it gets a few more through the gate that's good. But always a bit sceptical that it will translate to many extra. 1
coolie Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Will be interesting to scrutinise the nuts & bolts of this deal £280 gives you access to all Wakefield home games & all Dewsbury Rams home games. For the casual rugby supporter your looking at 30+ games in Super League & The Championship That's less than £10 a game Unbelievable Geoff Burning question What's in it for us

How many and how much is moot. If you mean us as season ticket holders I guess we will have to wait and see what our ST prices are and what games are covered. If anyone expects to get free access to Wakefield's home games I think they will be very disappointed. Blind side johnny Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Interesting to compare these with Oldham's offering, which has generated some discussion amongst their fans: 2026 Season Tickets - On sale now! Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
the old nine ole Posted October 17 Posted October 17 It pays to get a Wakey ticket! Surely there has to be something it it for us! ... Personally I would settle for Miles Lawford on a season long loan!... Is he still with Wakey?

You can get a Silver Concession ticket for £200 in their South Stand and this gives you access to all of their games as well as ours. I hope that someone at the club is aware of this otherwise we could be shooting ourselves in the foot. I can't remember what ours cost last year; can anyone enlighten me? Crown Flatter Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Season Tickets for 2025 were: Adult: £150 Young Adult (18-24): £100 Junior (0-17): £5 Family Ticket (admits 2 Adults and up to 3 Juniors): £260 1 Legs, Dews, Legs.

Given we should have 13 or 14 home games then expect our ST would be £200+, so yes it would be cheaper to buy a Trinity ST. Given I live walking distance from the Trinity ground, it is tempting though doubt I'd go to more than 1 or 2 games at the most. No real interest in SL. 1

I know that our chairman Mark as a very good relationship with the Wakefield owner Mark Ellis so I guess it’s going to benefit both clubs,I hope so anyway.
Wakefield Ram Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Seems strangely quiet on the recruitment front with pre-season starting in a few weeks. Maybe we are holding back a few announcements?Â

Any news on players who haven't yet (apparently) signed up for 2026 - Everett, Boardman, Field, Brierley etc? Latest is there will be 12 home games (and 12 away against the same teams). Opponents determined by this season's finishing position and fairy dust (possibly distance). 1 1
Blind side johnny Posted October 27 Posted October 27 (edited) This was presented to the clubs last week, I believe, as an example of the possible fixtures for 2026. It has not been accepted or ratified - I presume that the clubs took it away to consider. Regarding new signings Castleford Lock Lane England international amatuer full back Lewis Price is rumored to have signed a one a one year contract. 1
Crown Flatter Posted October 28 Posted October 28 If that is so, we have three fullbacks in the squad, the other two being Craig McShane and newcomer, George Rayner. Legs, Dews, Legs.

Crown Flatter Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Let’s go for four, Ryan Pappenhuyzen has left Melbourne. 1 Legs, Dews, Legs.
Wakefield Ram Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Batley have signed Ben Reynolds, so they're going to do well if he stays fit. Unless we recruit some better players, it's looking like we are going to have a weaker squad than last season but will be playing a number of stronger sides. We don't seem to have any forwards. 1
Wakefield Ram Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I was in a pub in Wakefield yesterday watching us fall to the Aussies again and talked to a few Trinity fans. When I mentioned I was a Dewsbury fan, one of them said he was planning on coming to watch some games as it's free with his season ticket. Maybe we will get a few more than I thought. 1
Rambo Posted November 2 Posted November 2 We seem to be signing players of League 1 ability on 2 year contracts with Tom Delaney and Joe Summers been the two latest players announced. Not sure what has changed from previous years when most if not all the squad were on 1 year deals. I can’t see us being in the upper echelons of the Championship table next year but at least we have a team to watch! Has any one heard if Featherstone will continue?  1

Meanwhile Batley have signed Ben Reynolds. Reading the Featherstone Forum, it looks like they are in very deep trouble. Edited November 2 by Wakefield Ram 1
Wakefield Ram Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Just read that Featherstone allegedly paid £1.2m in player salaries in 2025 and finished 6th!!! https://windinguppetitionsolicitors.co.uk/insolvency-lawyers-london/featherstone-rovers-winding-up-petition-adjourned/ Looking at some Championship clubs players then you wonder how much they are spending 1

Crown Flatter Posted November 4 Posted November 4 We currently have 20 players signed on for next season after today’s announcement of Dave Benson joining since his successful trial period. Legs, Dews, Legs.
