Judah Rimbu has also signed with Perth

I know they're extending the league from a much stronger position than we are, but I do wonder if the aussies have the same quality dilution fears as we do about going to 14

Toby Sexton makes it a Perth Bears Page 1 hat trick. Strong start.

Here’s a predicted side I’ve made, I don’t think it will be too far off as not many good players are still available. Players in Bold are heavily rumoured.

1-Will Kennedy
2-Murray Taulagi
3-Selwyn Cobbo (Meaney, Shibasaki)
4-Harry Newman ✅
5-Phillip Sami (Arthars, Stonestreet)
6-Tyrone Wishart
7-Toby Sexton ✅ (Savala, Clifford)
8-Tino Fa’asuamalueai
9-Sam Verills (Paix)
10-Owen Trout
11-Shawn Blore (Garner, Burns)
12-Marata Niukore (Leilua, Lemuelu)
13-Keoan Koloamatangi (Smithies, Going)

14-Judah Rimbu ✅ (Simpkin)
15-Liam Henry (Mariota, Hughes)
16-Emre Guler (Rudolf, Jollife)
17-Thomas Cant (Talakai, Keeley

Rest of Squad-
Jesse Colquhoun
Emarly Bitungane ✅
Luke Smith ✅

I doubt they’ll get both Tino and Koloamatangi but I could see them getting one of them. Could be a pretty good side, Wishart and Sexton will be very exciting in the halves, and the outside back options are looking pretty strong.

Mulhern to Cas but could go before this season starts

Only thing I've seen on this is a TotalRL column yesterday

James McDonnell leaving Leeds at the end of this season to take up an opportunity in the NRL.

Him, Gannon and Newman are some pretty big losses for the club, perhaps a sign of the broader problems in UK RL with NRL expansion.

Thought to be joining Newman at Perth. With 2 more franchises to be developed (PNG and one other) in the next couple of years, any good SL based player should be looking for a great pay day in the NRL.

Not sure what to make of this. I've never really been that impressed when I've watched him play, bit with Pitts likely to retire and Tavenga only on a 2 year contract I see a need to fill 13.

I'm 50/50 on this one too. People do rate him but I dont see in him any more than a solid club man. Also he's coming to a point where he seems to be picking up injuries.

I think he’s an upgrade but I don’t think he’s ever reached his full potential. Struggled last year with injury. I thought Leeds may give him this season to play for a contract

A good solid player, but seems to me (along with Liam Sutcliffe previously) to epitomise a generation of Leeds youth production players who the club thought were going to be brilliant/best thing since sliced bread and just haven't cut through at the very top level of elite players.

Best of luck to Cam Smith too, now seems like the writing was on the wall at Leeds with his squad demotion and he has taken a decent move.
