Been great watching these over the Christmas period.

Can you subscribe please( if you haven’t already done so).
it is enjoyable sorting these out but we do need fans support and it’s free.

I think that lack of feeling started after BQ left that first time.

For me it was much earlier. Remember going to a Challenge Cup game Vs Saints at Stalybridge and we couldn't lay a glove on them. It was clear that Chris Hamilton had done all he could and needed to work with others to make progress. Not something he could bring himself to do.

You couldn't expect us to live with a top St Helens team surely?

The Scott Naylor era definitely had its moments - promotion in 2015 & 2019 from League One, for example.

I suppose I was brought up on teams that did and whilst I didn't expect us to win, I thought might have given them a game. We didn't and it seemed to me we never would again.

We were playing out of the town and it all seemed a bit hopeless.

Even on occasions when we got promoted at Whitebank, then the club had to leave town again and so have little chance of connecting with a support base.

I came back to the fold on a regular basis when we started playing at Boundary Park again. It really is our only hope and I am pleased we have some hope back as a club. Don't know how it will turn out, but at least there's a plan with some money currently to back it up.

Scott did really well with no money. Imagine if he'd have had a similar budget like what they have now.

If it were possible I would give Tubby the job, is his ban still current...

Just checked his ban ends in April 26, Fordy holds reins then unleash Mark Aston....

Can you realistically see Fordy giving anything up? Very much doubt it.

Please enlighten us

Burgess, on a union pod cast, called fordy a snake. Dunno exactly what it was about. Something to do with George and tge England set up.  It was more 'my dad's bigger than your dad' nonsene. But the union people loved it.

I believe it was when Fordy was head coach at Bath RU and Burgess was a player there and trying to get in the England World Cup squad. Burgess was told by England that he would only get selected at centre & told Fordy that's where he wanted to play for Bath. Fordy as head coach decided he would make that decision & that's where the disagreement arose. Or so the story goes, who knows how much truth is in it.

Leave this one here for the nosey Rochdale lot who frequent our section of the forum

☺️

How did the final go? 🤔

Seriously, thanks for posting even if it was painful to watch. But did manage to spot Hornets superfan Pugwash in the crowd. Much loved and much missed.
