Thought Bennison would have the 2 shirt ahead of BJB but can't they all make sense to me.

Assuming the gap between 28 and 38 is there, just incase we have draft in any of the Toon lot.

And a sidenote, is Jesse Dee the first player to have a different squad number every season he's been at a club? 3,4,11 and now 12

Just a bunch of numbers aren't they. We'll need all of the squad throughout the season. Looking forward to see who gets a run out on Saturday.

One or two won't through niggling injuries.

Small squad?

30 plus the contingent from Newcastle is a reasonable number of bodies I think.

I reckon we've got the largest squad of players available to us out of everyone in the pro game.

Are all these training with the Knights full time and included in the squad -

  • Myles Harrison
  • Brad Ward
  • Harvey Reynolds
  • Jude Ferreira
  • Bailey Antrobus
  • Sam Cook
  • Joe Law
  • Noah Whittingham
  • Andy Djeukessi
  • Cody Hunter
  • Leo Tennison
  • Maxime Rostang

What about -

King Vuniyayawa

Is he training full time and available to the knights?

Think they're all training full time with the Knights and will be available on loan should we need them or their performances mean they get a shot at SL.

Thunder have confirmed santi on their website, great news.

Santi will be massive for Thunder, the fans will love him, he only knows one way, forward. What a squad for this coming season, with the advantage most have played and trained together for a while , look forward to some entertaining rugby.

I thought there might be one or two knocks kicking about, Andy. Makes sense not to risk any player that is carrying a slight knock. I'm sure there is plenty of hard work going on in training, so it will be good to see how we go. Any idea when Xavier Va'a is due in the country?
