WTRLFC WEBSITE Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) We can confirm we will play St.Helens Friday, 6th February, 730pm Tickets on sale tomorrow Spread the word, let's fill the stadium, it could be the last full SUPER LEAGUE team that ever plays on Derwent Park, and the last time we ever welcome St Helens too on the green, green grass of the Fibrus Community Stadium. According to Border TV Saints are the first supercharge team that we've played in this competition since 2019 when we played Leeds Rhinos. Useless 2
The Voodooguru Posted January 26 Posted January 26 On the St Helens Facebook post there are a lot of their fans not happy with the Friday night decision. Let's hope plenty still make the journey. The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

I would have thought Town would have wanted to play it on a Sunday but I'm assuming Saints would have preferred Friday night as they have their opening super league game on the following Friday.

You'd normally think Friday so they can spend the weekend in the Lakes...but less so in February! 1

It’s so transparent after reading all your post that you are an agitator. In other words you are probably not a town fan. I know your forum has been shut down so you can’t get on but that doesn’t mean you have to come on here. 1
