Sadly due to last minute change in plans (families heh?) couldn’t attend today.

Did anyone attend the Q&A? Anything of note?

I heard that as from the 20th Feb, anyone attending future home games will have to show their social media history before entering. (Joke btw 😂 )

Hoping someone was there and hopefully some good news can be shared.

A really honest meeting that was well attended and BQ got through all of the questions that have been flying around.

Thanks Bill.

Sounds good.

How about a synopsis of those questions and responses, for those of us who were unable to attend?

Wasn't there in time for it myself but was told that...

Benidorm and Musgrove legalities are over with.

Latics have essentially triple the amount of staff Yeds should pay for in comparison to last season.

We've not received any money from any of the items sold in the club store.

Latics want us to pay disputed invoices.

Bill Quinn can come to the games at BP but a steward must sit with him.

Did you understand from that we will be back at BP for the rest of the season?

I wasn't there to receive the tone or emphasis of it so it's not fair for me to say

For me these seem to be the most important.

Whilst trying desperately not to cause an “us and them” situation. If this is true (and no reason to doubt) it does feed this idea that Latics are looking at a way to “softly softly” remove us.

They can avoid accusations that they kicked us out by claiming that we are not paying bills (feeding the freeloader narrative that persists in some of the OAFC fanbase). When in reality they appear to be changing the rules to make it untenable.

Hoping that something is in writing about the number of staff actually required at each game.

A bit more from me.

BQ has it in writing from Latics that we are not allowed to play at BP unless we pay disputed invoices.

He confirmed that there’s a mandatory dispute resolution clause in the contract. This states that the two parties have to go to mediation; whose decision would be binding. Latics are refusing to go and in essence are in breach of contract.

BQ would have to be escorted by stewards and sit in another stand with them. Not allowed in the JR stand.

If it was said at an open forum then it's in the public domain.

By all means please go ahead. I for one will not be doing so.
