Worst possible draw if you ask me. The only thing that may have been worse was Catalan at 'home'

the draw itself was a insult to rugby league.

bit like chief a terrible draw.we wil lose a lot of money

Let's look at the positives, can't think of any but I'm sure there must be one.

I'm sure the Castleford people can give some advice on that.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

It'll be warmer in Perpignan in March than it is in Oldham (or Stalybridge)

Is there a "clutching at straws" emoji?

Do Catalans have to pay travel costs like they have to for SL clubs?

How is it that Toulouse aren't involved yet Catalan are?

Couldn't have been any worse! Wigan away would have been a day out. Who did he draw? I've heard it was Darren Royle.

I think that Toulouse chose not to enter the Challenge Cup. Too much extra expense I imagine.

But clubs are expected to go to Catalan. The best option would be to give them the game and save a load of money. We could never win.

The likelihood of us beating any SL are slim. It will be a great experience for the players though. I’m sure they’re excited at the prospect. Let’s hope the rfl support with expenses (optimistic, I know). I hope none of the players lose wages by having to miss work.

i would like to agree jr  but the penalties for doing that are very severe.

Reading that seems to indicate that Catalans pay teams and officials expenses.

Daytime temperatures in Perpignan in March typically average 15deg in the daytimes against 9deg in Oldham.

A bit like Toulouse I do not think there are any bars close to the stadium. Most fans seem to congregate in the city centre and bus. There used to be a guy who arranged buses from the main square to the ground but not sure if he still does

There are plenty of championship teams whose players will lose wages by having to play Oldham on friday nights. Its a bit rich complaining about oldham players losing pay to have to travel to Catalans.

Championship should be played on Sundays.

I'm still making my way back from Benidorm, so far got as far as Bordeaux. At this rate I could just about make Perpignan in time, don't reckon I'll make Stalybridge before then though.
