Think i could have walked it quicker from the Ashton junction.

Cracking win for Widnes though, particularly with the 5 day turnaround compared with Oldham having no game last weekend. Abdull's kicking game was superb and Fozzard  Lovely Mr. Kilshaw not a happy man. Attendance 1500 and something I think. Considering the number Widnes brought, that's not a great number and really show why they need to be playing in Oldham.

Got back a lot quicker,  went South to the M67. I thought the attendance looked decent to be honest. Main stand was full, plenty in Tom Pendry stand and both ends were populated.  Very pleased with result, thought we were well worth it.

Easily 600 from Widnes though, so fewer than 1000 home fans, which I don't think is great. If the game had been played at Boundary Park, maybe an extra thousand on the gate?

Interesting to see how the London v Crusaders game goes, will be a good indication of where both teams are. Is it live on YouTube?

Solid win for Sheffield today - I had to miss it but reports are that we were fairly rusty after a stop-start beginning to the season where we played Whitehaven twice, then Warrington, with a bye week and the postponed Fax game.

Good win for Goole too.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

Yes, being an old resident of Goole, I will have to get over there for a game this season.

Yes I know Broncos will tank a few sides this year but what's going on at Swinton, they dont appear to be competitive at all.

Good start by Hurricanes, thought they may struggle a little. Big test will be when they play Broncos

Decent win from Cru today, against a much improved Thunder. Hunslet stuffing Hornets bit of a turn up for the books. Quite surprised by the Cougars Haven score, Haven didn't look too bad against Sheffield in the cc.
