Nofoaluma signed by Newcastle and then loaned to York, Zenon I believe confirmed signed by Huddersfield but they were still awaiting clearance otherwise he'd  have been in their team last week. Had heard rumours of Okoro going but hopefully he's had a change of heart.

I’ve only seen noff linked not confirmed unless ive looked in the wrong places zenon has been confirmed by giants and same with okoro linked away but nothing confirmed

Pretty sure Noff has gone permanently, a relation of mine has spoken directly with him and he confirmed- think its probably to Newcastle so York can loan and get round overseas quota in the squad. He was wearing number 46!! for York last week, gives you an idea of how many players they are loaning in and out!!

Okoro not gone anywhere yet last time i heard

On saints website, they loaned Cowan and sinclair to Swinton last week. I suppose that shows these loan deals aren't worth the paper they're written on

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere now that instead of DR you can send them on 1 week loans so I suspect while saints waited to see what was happening with fax they sent Cowan to Swinton for the week

Anyone heard about any loans coming in? Hopefully George Whitby and ideally a couple of big units up top?

Don't think we'll get whitby. He played for saints last week and is included in their squad this weekend.

Whitby was looking like a season long loan before all this but Saints now have injury troubles in key positions so if we do see him in a Fax shirt it wouldn't be until a lot later in the season.

On paper we are starting with a pretty useful team really, very thin on the ground but the pack looks decent and the backs are not bad. Its going to be tough to get the players we need in key positions but we should give a lot of teams a game if we are lucky with injuries but it's really all about building for next season. Eastmond has been sold the dream so I would be amazed if we don't have a very competitive team on the field next year.

Yeah unfortunate with Welsby and Lomax both crocked for a while. We do need another half alongside Soric though saw some suggestion we’re trying to get Lawford back.

thats interesting re Eastmond. I guess we’re also likely to have a much easier set of fixtures next year barring some sort of miracle.

I'd much rather we have harder fixtures against decent teams to be honest. Why the RL can't organise the most basic of basics and have a fair league where every team plays each other god only knows, it's not rocket science!
