I'm expecting a big bounce back by North Wales Crusaders after their very disappointing day out in London, the Bulldogs will make sure its a close contest though.

Big game for Dons against Goole. 1st local derby and a few former Dons in Vikings side. Be interesting to see if on loan Savelio plays.

Yer wa worried before Salford game last week, and look how that turned out, should beat quite comfortably.

Big easy win for Doncaster.

Normally loan players can't play against their own club, depends on Doncaster.

Don's probably will let him play. He wasn't the flavour of the month with the current Don's players, zero effort, came 5 stone overweight at the beginning of last year. There getting rid of him anyway. Scooped 2 years salary on over 40k a year to play 1 game. Disgrace. Came for the pension pot. Other than that he's a great lad.

Hoping the pitch at The Ortus has dried out a bit, as a quagmire won't help Hurricanes' attacking style.

Not one person has tipped Swinton at home to Newcastle. What a turn around from last season? I'll watch that one with an open mind. I wouldn't rule out Swinton. I couldn't call Salford at Workington but Salford have announced in the local media some excellent loan signings this week and I think it will be close. Salford are taking good support away again and they will be loud. I hope Crusaders bounce back against Batley.

Apart from that, wins for Barrow, Donny, London, Sheffield, Thunder, Hurricanes, and Widnes. Worky/Salford too close to call, neither have had a great start to the season...

£40K a year?!??

I'd guessed Doncaster were spending some money, but that's a huge salary for the Championship if it's accurate

He is NOT in the Goole squad that has been announced for the match.

I don't know about Savelio...but the lasds we got from Featherstone had been getting an awful lot more than that and had to take a significant pay cut. (Although accept they're not the best example of responsible spending)

On the RFL Match Centre page 'fax have a listed squad of 13 players.

I remember Leigh turning up at Dewsbury about 10 years ago with 13 players after Beaumont had withdrawn his financial support at the end of a season.

If I were a Fax supporter, I'd be happy with that.

There may be loans being processed. Let's hope they can raise a couple of subs at least.

I remember York going to Toulouse for a play off with 11 once, IIRC. Johnny Presley presented with the task of playing both 6 and 7 😁

Maybe waiting for the Crusaders match and giving them more than 4 days to prepare might have been a better option?

Pretty sure they'll have been preparing.

They've had information we've not been privy to.
