shaw llewellyn Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Watched the game against Leigh and despite players missing, and the Sexton/Dodd combination still a work in progress, they are still a strong side. Attacking threat from Cotric, Leeming, Satae and Condon amongst others. Good to see PLT in Superleague but just as he was at the end of last season he seemed wasted on the wing. 1

saints10coach Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Does not seem to be much traffic about this game. How many Yeds are intending to travel to Perpignan?

Kasey Smith Posted March 11 Posted March 11 The game is not being streamed and had this confirmed off Catalans. We (ORLFC) have been doing a lot of testing this week re live streams etc and hope to be able to provide live commentary for the game. Our commentator, Matt Horton, will be doing it ‘off tube’ so to speak, as he isn’t travelling with us to France, but all being well fans should be able to listen in via YouTube. 3 2
sheddingswasus Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) Thanks Kasey. Update is really appreciated. Can’t wait to get live to the matches again. Edited March 12 by sheddingswasus 1
Bedford Roughyed Posted March 12 Posted March 12 1 1 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

m brooksy Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Really good squad again and I actually think we have a slight chance of a upset this weekend. Catalans have a decent team but aside from Staines and Cotric don't have a huge amount of game breakers so if we can defend well and keep it low scoring we could cause a surprise. For us I think the forwards pick themselves with Lannon back into the 17 for probably Moore. Backs wise O'Keefe would come into the team for me but really not sure who for. Would like Walker to get a game but would be harsh to drop Dean and Smith after good performances against Midlands. Catalans by 8 but Oldham to be in the game until late into the second half. 1

We’re often reluctant to promise commentaries especially with the internet situation at Bower Fold. And we don’t fully know until we get to the Stade Gilbert Brutus. you can prepare all you want, but if this internet is bad where you are, there’s little you can do. We have been looking into the internet situation at Bower Fold and hopefully that’ll be solved by the time we are back there. 3
canadian roughyed Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Kasey ty for trying . I really hope Bower fold internet is up and running soon as here in Canada, I am really missing listening in to the Lads playing. It really brightens up my sunday Mornings!

Trust me it has been annoying us not being able to provide it too!

Starlink might be an option. If the 4g/5g is bad and poor wired internet, it is something that might work (obviously I have never tried live streaming audio to youtube!) The Art of Hand and Foot Posted March 12 Posted March 12 We can but hope and dream! Afterall we've done it in the past, HKR being the most recent. Widnes twice, wigan twice. So its possible. Maybe start off with a drop goal? Its worked in the past. 2
Roughyed Rats Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I hope the lads give a good account of themselves and enjoy the experience. A trip overseas may also help bond the group further and set us up for the rest of the season. An upset is always possible and it would be a major boost for us if we could achieve one. Good luck lads. 2
