Yes, there were incredible scenes at Allianz Stadium as thousands of fans, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, stormed the field just a minute into the second half of South Sydney’s game against the Roosters.

Well Done Alex Johnston on taking an amazing record of 213 tries. Sitting watching the game when Alex Johnston took the record in the 2nd half, it took my mind back to over 55 years ago, when I was a young fella sitting on the sidelines at Brookvale oval watching the Legendary Great Kenny Irvine playing on the wing for firstly the North Sydney Bears then the Manly Warringah sea Eagles. The speed Irvine had was blistering that resulted in many many tries for firstly Norths then Manly. I think Ken Irvine was smiling down on Alliance Stadium as Alex Johnston crossed the line for that 213th try. R.I.P. The Legend Kenny Irvine.
