I bought SIX season tickets to watch Oldham at Boundary Park - that's gone and I am prepared to go to Bower Fold.

The Hunslet fixture was Friday the 27th March, for which I, with my other five season ticket holders, were looking forward to.

For whatever reason unbeknown to everybody I have spoken, to the game is now on Sunday. None of my six are able to go since plans have been put in place for the Friday fixture not Sunday.

How can the club expect support when a change is made without ANY reason behind it. It will be interesting to see how many turn up on Friday.

If anyone knows why it was changed please let me know, and how many of the future Friday games have been changed?

It was on the clubs website, facebook, twitter and in this forum too.

I subscribed to the club fixtures calendar.  It's still showing the game taking place at Boundary Park on Friday evening.  All the other calendar entries are also showing Boundary Park and evening kick-offs etc.

as is the immaculate BBC rugby league fixtures list, strange to say…

Hunslet quite probably a better team than the league position might imply. After hammering Rochdale they’ve lost the last three, but only by 8, 6 and 5 against Sheffield, Widnes and Barrow respectively. Let’s hope we don’t underestimate them and we put in a complete 80 minute performance.

Quite a lot of the fans are hoping all the Friday fixtures will be changed to Sundays. Getting to and from BF on a Friday night (if you rely on Public Transport) can be a nightmare but a lot easier to get to on a Sunday.

I think this game has been moved because Stalybridge are playing at home on the Saturday

Great result but the crowd looked a little disappointing.

Weather was absolutely appalling. Crowd was 971. People need to come and support this team, the brand of rugby is superb.

I heard it as 982 but even so less than 1k is not good.  However, yeah the weather may have kept a few away, I was lucky to have car parking paid but if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have fancied finding parking in a monsoon.

I am glad I did, honestly the style of play we are playing is cracking.

First half was fantastic. Understandably eased down a tad in the second half but still kept them scoreless and pretty much chanceless as well aside from the first 5 mins.

Smith and Drinkwater look like they are really started to develop as a partnership, really slick with the ball and plenty of ball movement from deep. Thought Purcell was great again starting at loose and Walker was much improved scoring two with the second being an absolute cracker. Geyer great as usual off the bench and on another day could have set up 3 or 4 tries

Thought Hunslet were very poor aside from Gaskell and the no.11.

Should be the business we expect, strong effort where Hunslet never looked in it. Ran strong for a team with only one recognised prop. Still maybe some teething issues with the main bar, dont think 2 portaloos fix the proble. On to next week and Rochdale.
