Hands were tied once it went to one division, not sure what is going on at the club. Lack of cohesive social media, no front of shirt sponsorship and seemingly relaying on individuals to sponsor matches. The womens and wheelchair teams seem a lot more organised and customer focused

I totally agree having a depleted squad going into the championship was always going to be a challenge - maybe if we had beaten Rochdale and Goole the season would look different - but can't compete with the squad we have lacking any experienced players with the exception of Rodden and not having sufficiently large squad to cover key positions.

It was clear from the Doncaster match that the team was ill prepared with players trying to cover the key spots but struggling to do so

I thing the women's and wheelchair team are run a separate entities from a funding view point but are under the same banner - certainly that's how Salford was organised so when the Salford folded the women's team was unaffected from a financial point of view as their funding was separate.

The season will be one to forget sadly

If we lose against Salford I hope it will at least be a close game

I fear for Sunday Wayne, I also fear it will put a lot of people off if we lose, or at least lose badly.

I came away from the match yesterday feeling quite optimistic - really think we could have won that match - we gave Salford to much respect in the first 20mins and let them in for two tries, certainly we weren't managing the play the ball and let Dwyer run havoc and score. Then after we scored in the corner we managed the game well for the rest of the first half.

Second half when we scored what was the best try of the matched started in our own 20 metres I felt we would win had the pass the Rodden not gone to ground we would have gone 16-14 up. However the team got into a couple of brawls and gave away too many penalties in the second half and finally Salford scored under the post with about 10mins to go

I think all the players looked sharp and the body language was excellent all the  pack and backs  really competed well and looked threatening.

Once Sammy is fully fit he will be a handful and Brad did well in his first match.

It was a proper derby match in a packed ground - which although we lost was good to see.
