A great result. Well done to everyone. Unfortunately I missed it as well. Having to travel from Leeds, I checked the traffic reports before I set off and there was a very long delay on M62.

Just my luck to be on holiday and miss what must have been our best performance of the season.

Well done to everyone concerned.

Don't worry, plenty more to come 😀

Very good today, after a wobbly start the following 70mins were head and shoulders the best of the season, to a man everyone put a shift in…..to be honest the 8-10 HT scoreline really didn’t do Hornets justice, but the second half scoring reflected the effort and overall dominance we had. All the things we have only seen in patches so far this year clicked, physicality, tough defence, particularly on or own goal line, but what was most pleasing was our attack who at times were on fire.

Loads of standout performances, Kelly-Duffy got the MOM for his best game so far was a fair shout , but Dalli was superb leading us around, Hansen, Flanagan, Nixon, Junior all excellent. A huge 80 mins effort from Barratt also up front….bloody great effort today, shame so few saw it…..Eagles below parr for sure but we should take credit for that; by largely outmuscling them upfront and hitting them with some quality attacking play, they still put out an experienced established championship level team despite a few injuries.

The standard has been set today, 2 points next week, when we face the Rams has to be the aim.
Really well done Team!

Performance of the season, and in front of the lowest crowd of the year — understandable given recent results, form, and the general lack of appetite for the 1895 Cup.

That said, massive credit to the lads. We played with real pace and aggression, defended in numbers, and put in a proper physical shift against Sheffield.

Kelly-Duffy was outstanding again, right up there with his display at Swinton away, and Dalli’s kicking game consistently had Sheffield starting their sets deep in their own territory. Junior Sau had his best game in a Hornets shirt, and young Sheridan looked completely at home.

Most pleasing for me was seeing us perform for the full 80 minutes, not just in short spells.

A great win—but the Dewsbury game next week is the big one. Hopefully we can bring that same intensity against the Rams at Spotland.

Well done Gary and the lads. Brilliant to see.

Agree, no soft try’s , great attacking rugby . Each player excelling . The win seemed to give everyone a lift in a difficult season. Dallimore is class and linking with Hanson has created many scoring chances. With Hatton and Andrade and others nearly ready to return things look bright.

The City v Arsenal game will have pulled more than a few away yesterday. We have fans who follow both codes.

Chris Barratt was immense, I didn't realise he had played the full 80 mins. Brilliant performance from all the lads. They are soaking up the learning every week.  The people of Rochdale need to support these lads they are very, very entertaining to watch
