With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I’d forgotten there was a rugby match actually taking place!! Always a tough place to go and Barrow have been a top side this season, with a wobble last week. Im certain we’re good enough to win there. I’d put Walker back at full back and keep Dean and JD in the halves. Otherwise I’d keep the backs as last week, unless AK wants to give Ben O’K a run out before Doncaster.

Think this is a very tough game. Barrow are a very tough side especially at home and their defence is one of the best in the league.

Hopefully the players are all onboard as they have been superb this season and we can keep off the field matters off the field. Davies should come back into the centres allowing Liu back to the bench to boost the forwards. Only real question for me is whether we keep Dixon at full back for his carrying ability or go with Walker.

Last season this was the  match where it all started to unravel. Longy decided the cup was more important which was a crazy mind set. Playing a weakened team was crazy and was a pure ego move for along. It ruined the momentum of the season and left us with quite a few injuries. 
We owe Barrow big style and hopefully we will come away with a victory. It will be a tough game but we have an entertaining team with a steel spine.

Just turned on the commentary 12-0 down and mentioned we were down to 12 men? That a temporary sin binning or are we down to 12 for the remainder of the game?

Wildie sin binned because of his reaction to a refereeing decision not to  penalise the Barrow lad (King, I think). Wildie was incandescent, suggesting that the ref got it completely wrong (as backed up by Matt’s commentary). Good that Wildie is fired up but bad that he let it get to him and  cost the side badly. 12-0 down after 4 minutes without an Oldham play the ball. And then two disallowed ‘tries’ for Oldham. Last season I’m certain that that would have been it and we’d have collapsed and got battered. This team and squad are made of much sterner stuff and to fight back to lead at HT is immense. We certainly got Barrow rattled after the first 10 minutes. Got to keep calm and controlled for the second half.

As it stands, we will jump from 6th to 2nd, with Midlands losing. Given the week it's been, that is pretty good end to the week. Barrow are a well drilled side.

Well we did it! Fantastic result what a team we currently hv, so proud to support them. Couldn't be there in person but listened to.live commentary and the fans sounded in voice! Well done to all the team. Doncaster we are coming for you 😀😀

That team didn’t play like they were worried about their futures, fantastic result, on to the Doncaster game full of confidence, as a separate topic, haven’t the 3 Aussies been impressive, if that was MFs who lined them up he deserves a pat on the back.
