Last time Matt Shaw broke any news on Leigh, it was to say Trout had signed a contract extension. Suspect the NRL subsidy will bring Hull back onside though.

They'll take 20,000 between then and outdrink the Aussies.

Americans will think they're a bit restrained in their attire but admire the boozing.

Why not? Cos you don't want to go?

Exactly the opposite.

It would cost me a small fortune to fund taking three generations of my family with me! 🤠

I think "small" is doing some heavy lifting there!

It'll be a fairly sizeable fortune to take the whole tribe.

It's not one of those things where you can say "I'll wait til next time" - it has to be done cos there probably won't be a next time.

I'm considering timing my retirement by it, to make sure I've got some cash.

Hull and Saints not liking the commercial terms isn't a great sign.

I think we're seeing why clubs release so much extra kits and merch around it.

They're covering the shortfall.

Hull were very close to going bankrupt recently, and McManus spoke out about Saints big losses too.
Not really a surprise they don't want to make a loss on a Super League game.
Vegas isn't a money maker, even as the away team.

I would have thought that now as the NRL are in profit from Vegas and in the spirit of Partnership and all that, that the NRL would be contributing a little towards Superleague cost for Vegas. I know they aren't making much ($2m this year being rumoured) and that they have previous years losses they would like to off set but surely they could buy a round of drinks ?

Hull will be in the middle of a re-build around then which they wont want to disrupt.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

The only reason I'd spend that amount of money to see Leigh in Las Vegas is if Springsteen was doing a residency there at the same tine.

Id happily do 2 weeks.

Watch Leigh then get maybe 6 or 7 shows in.

Other than that im not even considering it.

This Vegas lark is becoming like the Jaws or Terminator film franchises.

Or comparable to the NFL taking a game to London?

Vegas as a destination has no appeal to me at all , however as a one off RL experience I may be interested. Id probably have a day or two there for the game then move on to other destinations

Though it sounds like the terms have since changed. Think RLC will still be hoping that one of those clubs can be convinced, because I’m not sure how many fans Bradford and Leigh will take across.

That they both think it is a gravy train could be a bigger issue.

It'll be a good event and I think both clubs should take decent numbers.

Not sure how Leigh make a Vegas kit that is more Vegas than their current kits.
