Tough game today, we have been well beat at home last two occassions dews have been...they play with a simple game plan. 

Phillips is a miss, but a break wont harm him. Hopefully Lawther can cause some problems with Tanna outside.

Well for 30 mins we competed well, conceded 2 tries just before half time and 1 straight after to throw the game away.

Second half Dewsbury completed better ran harder and looked the better team by a considerable distance I am afraid.

At one point we had 2 sets off line drop outs and never looked like scoring.

Stating the obvious but you can't win Rugby league games if you can't score, our attack was disjointed and line speed poor as all season, can't hide the fact that we are where we are for a reason.

Forward passes apparently, he missed a few from them in my opinion but when your attack is a bit slow they are more obvious.

We also dropped ball and missed passes on several occasions attacking their line  second half

Just about correct Bob, too many players not at this level I am afraid.

On a positive T did ok at hooker for his first game in that position but  Lawther limping most of second half, Carter pulled muscle kicking off and Ross Ainley came off with shoulder problem, never rains etc

I just didn't fancy this one and was glad i didn't waste  50-100 quid. We have people saying we're just not good enough and that's the bottom line. No forwards who can bust the line or effectively stop the opposition best forwards so we're not winning the contact. Nobody who's lively in the spine. But basically we have Jonty saying the same things every single week without fail.. individual errors and discipline. We have a squad who if not the best can compete but gift games and if it hasn't changed by now you can only come to one conclusion.
