Paasi was great the first few years at Saints and a real handful until.the bad injury that he had. Unfortunately he never hit the same heights since then and hasnt been the same player.

The others were in NSW Cup for the Bulldogs. Your wording of only "completed less than a dozen games in 2 years" implied injury issues and yet 21 games last year puts that into context.

Not just saying this as a Wiganer but Saints seem to be self destructing. They have backed Rowley which is fair enough but the players he has brought in are awful and now going for a prop who cant get a game in the Queensland Cup. They are stuck with these players. It all seems a bit Cunningham. They could end up a mid to lower league side for a few years.

Hastings - Klemmer - Sailor  all poor - Lomax too old- Welsby too slow etc etc 

I'm having my fun and that's all that matters

I think Saints need a big rebuild, and whether or not Saints have the money for a rebuild i don't know, so might go down the route of blooding promises youngsters for the rest of this season, and see where that takes them

It’s not just that, the club have extended deals that have not been deserved.

I don't think Sailor has been poor at Saints, he has certainly suffered from being shifted around, but he has performed reasonably well.

I don’t mind Klemmer but he isn’t a prop. Hastings, Sailor, can go, i am amazed the club gave Percival another year he hasn’t deserved it.

Yeah it has been surprising that the Dogs haven’t used him. He does flatter to deceive, I always expect a bit more from him but he’s a decent player

Released to the Super league shop comp .. aka NSW & Queensland cup.

Doggies just binned him

Another reserve grader signing for an SL team. Saints are supposedly one of the strongest clubs in SL but still have to sign a NSW cup player. Don’t they have any one in their own reserves knocking on the door of the first team?

It’s not a great look. How many NSW and Q cup players are running around in SL?

It makes it look second rate which is how it’s viewed down under

It is second rate given the disparity in salary caps between the 2 leagues. The sooner people accept that the better

The best will still head down under for more money as we see.
And the reality is SL is not an attractive career for most young athletes when the earnings are relatively small compared with other sports
