I could understand the new owners wanting to give London a new look, but what was the point of moving from a black kit to a very dark blue one?

The only thing that makes sense to me is they needed the kit sorted quick so went for a basic template with the patterns. But for heavens sake, if you change the colours to Red, Blue & White, at least have red shorts or blue & red hooped socks. Anything for some contrast. But if they end up in SL playing in Dullsville City shirts, at least I'll save a load of dosh.

I’m not a massive fan of dumping old logo/colours but, although it’s not necessarily coherent- horses/seahorses, gothic and other fonts, swords - overall I think it’s worked out well. As you’ll know I liked the black kit but I think the blue works well in terms of replica shirts - I’d not be surprised to hear they’ve sold more this year. As for on the pitch I agree it kind of fades into the back ground. Overall though we’ve had our rebrand, for good or ill, I’d stick with it for now. Talking of all things sartorial did anyone take a gander at Nigel Wood’s suit at the CC Final. Whoever his tailor is he needs a good hiding.

Made up for Hursey Hord and Stock too. Wondered if they might've been forgotten in the new world. Been heartening to see JD integrate the team so well.  I was ready to get inexplicably nostalgic for last year's team. 

Agreed re how bad the shirt looks. Please bring back Fulham's kit.

No idea what happened today, but looks as though Hunslet may have given them a bit of a game. If so, fair play to them. Did seem to be a bit of drop ball on our part too.
