Hi Folks,

I reckon this will probably be a no goer but I thought I'd put it out there as we've had them in the past. I know football is boring to most of you on here, my good self included, but in a desperate effort to make the 2026 FIFA WC tournament a little more interesting, I thought I'd offer to run a forum sweep stake. The stumbling block will no doubt be getting 48 people putting their TRL pseudonyms forward.

Happy to do all the donkey work and I still have a few RL related books from the last time I did this to offer as prizes.

All you need do is post "I'm in" as a reply to this and, if there's sufficient numbers, off we go.

Tonight sees the first game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and we need another 8 people to fill the TotalRL sweepstake allocation of 48 entries.

If I can't lure anyone else to join then I'll probably do the draw with the current 40 members and the top 40 ranked teams and hope and pray that one of the also rans doesn't win!

So, last call for anyone who hasn't signed up yet, to put their name forward please.
