Finally a game.  Hope the guys got a rest and come back focused!

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Sadly we can’t go after many years going to Workington the boss isn’t fit to travel good luck to everyone going

I'd go Walker, Nisbet, Bibby, O'Keefe, Forber, Smith, Drinkwater, Ted, Wildie, Liu, Ashurst, Day, Milner. subs: Lannon, Waine, Thornley, Moore.

Sounds like Purcell isn't quite fit so he'll drop out. Squad is looking very skinny now but the players left are still quality.

Somebody once said that winning when you aren’t aren’t well is a sign of a good team.  Listening to Kilshaws post interview that sounds right. 
But again picking up on his comments I want to rewatch the match before commenting. We were stood at the side where Smith was taking his kick with the score at 22-0. The Workington water bloke suddenly appeared and gave the ref a bit of a grilling. All in front of Smith. But the referee changed his referring from there on. There were a lot of other incidents which were contentious. 
positives were great displays from Chappie, Ashurst and Lannon in the pack.

Picking up on the change of officiating, AK said the same, saying we couldn't adapt.

Who was the referee and have we had him before?

Again listening to AK there were lots of enforced changes during the game which allowed them back into the game.

Never mind a win is a win.

We have a lot of holes in the squad because of the financial mess the club has got into. One functioning prop forward is a particularly vulnerable position. Much of the front foot football has gone with the departure of Dean and Geyer. Then there are the inevitable injuries.

The players deserve huge credit for keeping it going in the circumstances
