I fancy us to win this.

I fancy you might be right. Looks like Teddy will get another go which will make Lefty even happier.

I see there will be high pressure over Birmingham at the weekend which normally takes all the energy out of hurricanes as they dissipate.

Big thanks to everyone who made the trip up to Birmimgham today. Hope you enjoyed your day out as much as we enjoyed having you here.

You have a great set of fans and I wish you well in the final.

Cheers

Enjoyed today with the nice folks at Avery Fields. I spyed Nigel Wood chatting with the Hurricane's Chairman late on in game. Hope that discussion bears fruit for them. On the pitch thought we were professional, Hurricanes showed glimpses of what they are about, Medforth collecting his own deft flick off the outside of his boot for their second try was a thing of beauty, as was Liva bulldozing over.

Yes, I thought Midlands asked plenty of questions. Enjoyable day and nice people.

Broncos need to win this cup now. I hear the venue for the final is still undecided. I hope to get there but the Bank Holiday usually means rail closures!

His suit looks no better in real life. A sharp breeze and he’d be off like a rocket.

Agreed a nice little ground similar to Eailing Trailfinders back in the day. Not sure they offered much in the way of food- I had a pack of peanuts, but other than that all good. They have quite. Few decent players including Medforth who I thought looked a good player. They carved us open a couple of times and it wasn’t a vintage performance but the result wasn’t really in doubt.

Webster Mansfield had another strong game and Bienek and RCG were able to bully the opposition. We don’t seem to have traditional wingers any more. Not sure what that’s about but Webster Mansfield kept popping up on the wing to score so it seems to work. Smith took a knock which may keep him out for a few games which is a shame as he’s been very consistent. On attendance I think we brought about 100 which is pretty good going for us.

To be fair it'd take a Hurricane before Woods lifts off...

Or one Bradford curry too many!!

Difficult to assess how many curries would constitute ‘too many” for Mr W.
Saw Gary Hetherington at the match as well. He looked smart. Suggest he has a word in Mr W’s shell like and lets him have the name of his tailor. I’m pretty sure he can afford something ‘more flattering’.

Widnes saw off Rochdale ruthlessly so match is all finalised…..except venue….on August bank holiday…sigh.

Yes, something else that doesn't seem to have been thought through particularly well, given Broncos were likely to be involved.

And odd course the last game of the season, home to Swinton, will need to be rearranged before the pointless playoffs begin.

Yes, boys. This is why we let you win.

We've already had to rearrange the Goole game we were supposed to play yesterday for a Tuesday night.

Good luck in the final though. Will be rooting for you.
