Here’s the line ups, though Queensland have not yet confirmed their line-up , just named their squad, so the following is a best guess based on the 20-man squad that was announced on Monday.

Billy Slater says he "won't sign another contract" to coach Queensland as he addressed his future as coach.

The Maroons boss said that he will proceed beyond this State of Origin campaign, if he does, on a handshake basis with the Queensland Rugby League (QRL).

The 43-year-old has won three series out of four and can make it four out of five with a win in the Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium on July 8.

Is this a sign that he has ambitions elsewhere? 
If so it isn’t hard to guess where.

Is he being lined up for the Broncos job?, but i didn't think he wanted the everyday running of a NRL team, but pehaps he's changed his mind.

I do expect Queensland to win origin 3 and quite comfortably.

No way he would take the broncos job…it’s a poisoned chalice. He might be tempted by the storm job but it would impact his current lifestyle too much I suspect.

So you wouldn't dismiss the idea that he might take over a NRL club in SE Queensland, but not the Broncos?

So in your opinion would he take over the Gold Coast Titans coaching job IF he was offered it?

I’m hoping your thoughts are off target and that he chooses Storm.

I can see the reasons why he might not.

From Melbourne’s point of view he would be the natural successor  to CB.

 Billy Whizz spent his entire 319-game NRL playing career with the Storm. Officials at the club have previously seen him as part of their long-term succession planning, fuelling media stories that he is being groomed for the head coaching role. 

What the club, or any club might want may be at variance with what he might want.

As referred to above he has a good going on as it stands without the everyday pressure of club RL.

No….I don’t think he will take a FT gig anywhere…but if he was it would be Melbourne.

I support QLD but believe NSW will win this as underdogs!
