Looking forward to a home game at last and hoping for a decent crowd to welcome in our new board of directors. They deserve all the support the town can give them.

My biggest concern is our shortage of props and the injuries picked up at Batley.

And that's what we at Batley are fearing the damm blasted injuries.

A crowd of over 1000 would be good.

1500 or more would be excellent

Excellent rugby, huge winning streak, a new, hopefully positive beginning, add to that fax should bring a few so if be disappointed with anything less than 1500.

Just had a quick count up. Tickets are just under the 1000 mark. Come on everyone let’s make it count. Good example of how this grows, a friend of my grandson who is a big Latics fan has been to all the gated home and away since first midlands Friday night game where I paid him in. Sunday he is taking his. Girlfriend and her friend, neither who have been before. We just have to get them hooked!

Getting my tickets online today. Waiting for confirmation from a relative, so it's either 3 or 4 tickets.

One of the reasons we lost momentum followed the league 1 title was the change to online payments.  Many commercial mistakes were made by the previous regime, hopefully the new group in charge will learn from past mistakes.

Can't wait for Sunday.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

McKinney in for Thornley and Regan straight swap for Hartill. Hopefully Ted fit as we really missed him last week but Moore should be available as cover if not. We really are now down to the bare bones.

Haven't seen a lot of Fax this year aside from the reverse fixture where they were tough but lacking in creativity. Tibbs and especially Johnson are the danger men out wide. Confident our pack will control the game but think this is a potential danger game if we take them lightly.

According to the Fax Forum they cancelled a 16 seater coach as the fans didn’t fill it. Hopefully a good few coming by car.
