Oldham Valderama Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Just been thinking, this Sunday's away game at Hunslet, if the gods are in our favour and England triumph tomorrow night against Argentina and end up in the World Cup Final, would Hunslet & Oldham consider changing to an earlier kick off than 3pm to allow fans to watch the rugby and then get back in plenty of time for wherever they are watching the football? You can bet your life something will cause a delay on the M62 coming home and if not leaving Hunslet till gone 5pm Oldham fans maybe cutting it a bit fine if they want to get themselves prepared in plenty of time for an 8pm kick off. Might be worth consideration by both clubs?? 1
sheddingswasus Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Should be a good game. Hunslet are much better than when we played them earlier in the season. lets hope Bibby and the other injured lads are fit. We have some hard games coming up in the season run in so we need to keep the momentum running. 1
m brooksy Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Similar squad as last week with Forber swapping in for Reagan and then the addition of Irwin. Can't see Bibby being available after last week so O'Keefe straight into the centres. Can see maybe Ted and Milner getting a rest with Liu and Irwin maybe coming onto the bench to freshen up the pack. Oldham by 14 but I'm expecting Hunslet to score a fair few points. They are a very unorthodox team and attack from unexpected places which can really put you off your game. 1
Bedford Roughyed Posted July 17 Posted July 17 1 1 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Milner defo deserves a rest

Bert Street Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Very scratchy stop start again... but we did score sixty points. 1
Happyed Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Playing like a team enjoying their rugby at the moment. Smith, Nisbett and Davies superb again. Tom Forber also looks like a great bit of business for the playoffs and McKinney was a handful 3

Cost a try near the end and was walked back 10 yards after dissent. Not his best day. In my opinion. The rest I would agree with. 2
m brooksy Posted July 19 Posted July 19 (edited) Wild game where we scored 60 but I felt like we butchered 5 or 6 clear opportunities. Hunslet aside from Battye who was outstanding were very poor. Felt like we absolutely dominated the game aside from the 5 mins before half time where we were very poor and let them back into the game. Morgan Smith continues his outstanding form. 10/10 with the boot but it's his confidence with the ball that is really impressing and we've hardly missed Dean at all. Forber at hooker was unreal off the bench. Was simply too fast for Hunslet and made numerous breaks in the second half. Luke Forber had a much better game making plenty of breaks. Walker looked classy again but probably forced the play a bit too much at times. Only downside was Nisbet making too many errors and then backing them up with poor discipline. I love his fiery attitude but it could cost us. Ashurst came off in the first half not to return but didn't seem too hampered at full time so hopefully just precautionary . Stevos Barber Posted July 19 Posted July 19 What was it Bob Dylan sang? The times they are a-changing? Think back four years. Now we have a little moan when we win by 44 points away from home Anyone got odds on going unbeaten? And yes I know we still have London 4

sheddingswasus Posted July 19 Posted July 19 It was a great display. First half saw perhaps 4 or 5 tries going begging. The second half was superbly entertaining. Well done to all involved 4
