A quick trawl of the bookies odds published today, shows 6/1 for a home win.

Just to get some perspective Count Binface (for Clacton) at 4/1 would currently seem the more likely outcome.

Another tough watch in prospect mi thinks!

I expect a Wigan win but i don't think it will be a trouncing like some suggest. We are still down on troops, although that seems to be improving. I would say Wigan by 20, looking forward to seeing the young guns again.

Correct. There are too many kids and lads out of position for it to be some sort of 50/60/70 point runaway win. Looking forward to seeing Marsden again but having a pack full of props/loose forwards (plus O'Neill) makes it difficult to see any sort of fluidity with the ball.

I'm still unable to sleep properly from the last game, so you'll have to forgive me for thinking we might not win by 50+. I think I've got some form of Rugby League PTSD.

Ken Davy brings the match ball out to much applause. But there's got to be trepidation among the fans and players.

Marsden off for (I assume) a HIA.

Meanwhile, Partington levels the scores.

Zenon pays the price for a great aggresive run from deep and goes off for assessment. I hope he's okay.

O'Connor and Lolohea binned for a scuffle.

That's a poor call. O'Connor completed a tackle because he couldn't see an offload and then Lolohea refuses to let him up. Neither should be in the bin

The referee said, after the previous nonsense, that he'd be sitting people down. This was an opportunity to stamp his authority.

That interview from Thewlis doesn’t fill you with confidence

He's been dropped right in it with the poor timing of this announcement.
