Tough game this one. Barrow have dropped off a tad since the first half of the season but they still have a good team and some cracking players especially the two starting props. We know they are a very fiery team who will test us so we'll have to be smart but still match their aggression.

Sounds like no Ashurst so Day straight back into the second row with Liu. Maybe a chance for Irwin to debut if Lannon isn't 100% but can't see too many other changes. 

Oldham by 12.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Bloody tough game that. We know what sort of team Barrow are and unfortunately the ref fell for the trap. Johnson's kicking game was outstanding in that wind and in the first half we pretty much defending our line and to only concede 12 points was actually quite decent.

Second half started great reducing the 8 point deficit in less than 5 mins. Felt like we were the significantly better team with the ball and I was confident we would pull away in the second half. Liu had another cracking game in the second row. Thought it was Drinky's best game for a while and Smith was good as usual. Walker looked really threatening and O'Keefe had a strong game as well. Ted and Farnworth were great in the second half and gave us much better field position than in the first.

Huge game next week against Doncaster. The way we are playing why can't we beat them,

That made me laugh. 

The irony of this is Barrow have a similar playing budget as ours…. The likes of Brad Singleton, Joe Bullock don’t sign for the Raiders for nothing 😂. And quite a lot has been shaved off ours. 
 

But it suits Barrow to big us up, they want to be the underdogs

I had a look bc at ticket sales this morning and it then looked around 1300 ish 

But maybe we should do what York did. Not declare anything and then our 3000 or more in the img data

Looking at a rerun of a try today the JR stand didn’t look to be even half full. It holds around 2600 so I would guess at about the usual……maybe 1100.🤷‍♂️

Why does it seem to be so difficult to announce the attendance?
