Discussions about Swinton Lions game

Hi there folks I have started this early as on Friday I heard it mentioned it's 14.00 kick off, just checked on the Swinton website and it's confirmed as 14.00hrs.

With our current availability it's looking a tight one, just because they're well down the table doesn't mean they won't feel able to beat a team WELL down on numbers. Who's out, why and for how long, except Josh who I doubt will feature again? Can Fordy exert any influence for loans? Shame because I thought we were nearly there at Donny, a showing which would normally be enough to win this.

On paper it looks a useful squad, and all being well Olpherts back next week, we will be missing Walshaw, Woods and Ward and probably Kirk for the rest of the season by the looks of things.

For what it's worth if anything Roger; Ward is in the squad for Sunday.

Couldn't get there today due to cricket commitments but was keeping and eye on reports; a little surprised to hear Fordy saying he was angry/annoyed afterwards. From watching their club TV it's clear that they always throw everything at you, you can't on the one hand say how useful a side they are then say you're disappointed at an 18 point win. Throwing an 18 year old into the fray from minute 1 is different to giving him 15 minutes late on, he has to settle. 2 loanees, although I like 'em both, need a few plays to get with us, Ronan back after a long stretch, then losing 2 more players....how good is a good win?

Agree. Too many errors/wrong decisions in the first half. Not helped by in game injuries, forcing shuffling the team around. We were not at the races until second half and even then we bummed some points.

Thought we were trying to hard to score especially when we went 6-0 up, we just had to complete and play Swinton in their 20 metres - 24 play the balls we in the first half… 

Kibula didn’t do anything apart from one drive, we didn’t target him much in defence… 

our pack was good yesterday to allow Beedle and Reynolds space with leak and parson room before he went to centre

Assume the no 22  Scriven we see in the Swinton highlights was in fact Noah High ??

Yes they are using the shirts that given to the lads who have left instead of getting new ones all the time, seeing as we have now used 9 loans and possible another one to come to cover for yesterdays injuries.

Re using up shirts, could need a loan centre this weekend, Ellis and Hudson probably missing, will a loanee get got Bruines 4?? Derrell back so Ollie can cover 1 centre.

Probably, I have seen them using Brining's once at a home match.
