Think we will lose quite comfortably and I for one would be happy with that.  Absolutely fed up of close matches, losing in last few mins, scoring more tries and still losing, losing after being up at HT........the list is endless.  

A nice comfortable loss with us out of  it by HT will be nice and restful...

I wonder as a club did we stand on hard enough in relation to this overall situation. Initially we turned up willing, able and ready to fulfill the original fixture. The home team staff failed to provide and prepare a pitch deemed fit and playable for a Championship fixture. Not withstanding all the expenses incurred for both the club and the travelling spectators. Personally I am not interested in the pride thing and I offer no opinion on that particular subject. What I am adamant about is that we should have vigorously pursued the two points or at the very least sought out a reversal of the said fixture. Seriously. Why should we all be expected to travel to Keighley on a Wednesday night and fulfill the fixture at a last minute.com rugby union ground? No offence to Keighley RUFC. The RL are a joke IMHO. They should have stepped in and made the correct executive decision. Two points to Dewsbury or reverse the fixture.

Having been to Keighley RUFC, this is equivalent to a decent amateur ground. It has a 4G pitch so the game will definitely be on, but from memory there's next to no parking.

We can’t do that. You must remember thst it was our fault in the first place; we’d all gone home by 2.25,:or so we were told.

Anyway, what time is the kick off, 19:30 or 19:45? See above.

There will only be a small RL crowd!

With the kick off not until 19:45 and West Yorkshire’s poor evening transport service I will be absent from this one. I didn’t fancy a near enough 7 hour outing. If the kick off had been fifteen minutes earlier, train and bus connections would have been easier. I shall try and listen to radio commentary on Drystone Radio (if I can get it), or rely on score updates online. Can’t see us winning though. Keighley did very well at Workington so will be out to surprise us, but we do need that elusive win.

Gutted to be missing the match.

The Keighley fans I spoke to at their last attempt to hold a match said we would put 40 past them.

I reckon a fair number of us got that result wrong, but it’s a much needed win.The opposition must have left Delaney alone for him to score four tries.

Drystone Radio wasn’t the best commentary I have heard, but at least we had some (once they got their sound fixed), unlike BBC Radio Leeds who didn’t bother.

Hard luck on debutant Blacker who was taken off early in the game with a head knock and also a Keighley player with a similar injury, his in the first tackle.

I wish that I had been there to see the victory, not having seen many at all this season but like many folk it was a difficult proposition.

I also listened to Drystone radio which was akin to listening to two Keighley fans talking to each other, completely unbiased of course.

On Sunday it would be nice for us to win at home, just for a change.

The radio commentary was dire but had to laugh when one of them mentioned that Keighley have two players called Green. My immediate thought was that they have more Greens in the team than green blades of grass on their pitch!

Indeed it would!

Having missed the Workington game because of a wedding and not travelling away I have seen only  two of our eight League wins all season.  
a poor return

However,  with my attendance on Sunday confirmed  I fully expect another close defeat - probably in last five minutes.

Watched the highlights and Paul Sykes played. Though why he was sub when PM played Louie Walker is anyone's guess. 

Paul Sykes is a better player and definitely a better kicker than Louie Walker, who kicked 3 out of 6. That's not to criticise Louie Walker, but it's a big ask for a player to drop in from amateur rugby into a key position like half back. 

But then Toby Everett and Dec Tomlinson don't get any game time in favour of young players from other clubs on short term loans. Same with Sam Day last season. 

But at least Tom Delaney finally scored a try from a high kick near the line. But it was a Keighley kick on our line. Perish the thought we should ever try a blindingly obvious tactic like that.
