Brad Walker and Ryan Johnston injured, so no kicking game. Running the ball on the 5th tackle meant Rochdale started in good field position. Dan Knott safely handled some high balls but we really miss Tee and his try-scoring abilities. Never thought we'd lose this game but we only sealed it late-on with Tom Walkers 2 tries.

Disappointing i thought we would blow Rochdale away a close game we made too many errors really but we dont look the same side as a couple of months ago

Thought Bully had a terrific game, he makes lots of yards bringing the ball out of defence. We'll miss him next season.

The kicking game was poor although Archer when he was trusted with the ball put a couple of decent ones in. One led to the second try and it was his pass that laid on the opening try. Although we were missing Walker and Johnston they have been present in other poor performances. What we lack, without Ritson, is any flair. I am not saying that none of the players has it but it certainly isn't evident in the way we play. For most of the game our line in possession was flatter than the defensive one which cannot give you many options. I know all the arguments about "earning the right" and "laying the platform" but what we have produced of late is not good to watch with only the close scores making it exciting. Yes bring back the bash but once you've done that let us see if we have any backs who can show their skills. The line about Bulman making yards out of defence is spot on but it would be nice to see him making metres down the wing.

His work rate last night was excellent, made a lot of yards after contact.

The overall performance was very poor from the team, you need to be hitting your best form going into the playoffs, we are nowhere near it.

Looking at  Donnys and Widnes and Sheffields remaining games I think Donny and Widnes will win them all and Sheffield will win 1 so looks like 6th position for us as the way were playing Donny will turn us over if we can turn on a performance against Donny we might sneak 5th but points difference isnt as good so prob won't anyways i see Widnes ran London close today and Donny beat oldham

Form in this division is bonkers and the clubs that hit their form at the right time will be the ones who get it right. London aside Barrow are the best team we (Donny) have played this year, they got everything bang on at our place. Where as Widnes just looked average and without a plan. Just can't play a team at the wrong time!
