I don't actually mind Vella and when you watch the games back he actually gets most things right. The problem with him is he really pernickety, has a bad aura about him and comes across as a bit arrogant.

I'd rather have him than Miss [ everything] Jones though and I'm more worried about the video referee this week than Vella, but hopefully he won't rely on them as much as she does.

What's the problem with Liam Rush? He was good in the middle last week, only one, (wasted) Captains Challenge suggests he was good.

Nothing against him when on the pitch but I think when any of them go on video refereeing duties they become a different beast. I dont know if its down to the poor picture quality or a completely different interpretation of the game to the ref in the middle but I hold my breath whenever a decision goes to them. Its not an individual thing ,it's about been absolutely fed up with the system and the complete lack of consistency.

A good effort once again! I think we've just been schooled with a kicking game! They turned us around so many times and I thought our kicking game was a little poor tonight too easy for them. Take nothing away from the effort though!

I know we lost but I'm very proud of the effort shown in that performance. Leigh absolutely battered us yet we still hung in there to the very end.

Playing against a top team that knows how to grind results out. The repeat sets was hard going for us but we fronted up and defended. 

Not sure on the injury front, how was Galeano? 

Inman defended brilliantly again and Ata played well again. Possibly found his position at loose.

Top effort yesterday against a team that will be a big threat come playoffs can’t complain.Had a look at stats some serious efforts yesterday in defence 

Matty foster 39 tackles 

Oli field 41 tackles 1 miss 

Thompson 42 tackles 1 miss 

Inman 41 tackles 

Martin 39 tackles 

Weve got a very good core squad to build on for 27 with some genuine quality added in mciness for example(Who’s still putting up seriously impressive numbers for a top 4 Nrl side)we will be a very good side next year.

@Cam varley have you seen McInnes games since coming back from ACL. He's doing 40/50 minutes and putting 40/50 tackles in serious workhorse.

If McInnes is going to come sort our general line speed out. Add a proper baller in the backs and we've the base of a good team.

Exactly but it’s not just that he’s regulary doing 100+Meters per game absolute machine

Play the ball speed under 3.0.seconds very often the fastest in the team.

Mash post match and post game press conferences he seemed to have a cheeky grin. Possibly spending full cap and talking of doing a Leicester city. Signings already made just need announcing.

We've an identity and style and I think we've quietly recruited away for it in the background.

 All good stuff that especially when most of those names only play part games. I just hope it isn't that guy doing the Sky commentary that does the stats!
