homeandawayer Posted Wednesday at 19:36 Posted Wednesday at 19:36 Right position for us. If he plays hooker and Callum retires then we've got a replacement and if he plays on we've two accomplished hookers and Jammer plays loose forward. If he plays scrum half he might give us that zip we need. As for ability who knows, York signed him but he never played which was odd. 1
Hate the rec Posted Wednesday at 20:28 Posted Wednesday at 20:28 Just been reading Jontys post , seems a promising player and a replacement for Dom who seems destined for kells by all accounts, and also play 9 so another area that could be covered, Welcome to Town marra good luck in the UTT.
Town and out Posted Wednesday at 22:57 Posted Wednesday at 22:57 Any signing is positive so happy with that. So good luck to Harry in the blue and white.Personally would also like to see some players or player coming in with more proven experience at championship or even super league level. Marc Sneyd signed a 2 year deal at Salford. 35 but will Marshall them around the field and undoubtedly will contribute to them winning close games at this level. So thats what we are up against!! We will need a massive overall in the forwards and half backs. I'm hoping that Brad can bring in at least 3 players . Definitely need 2 props of a much higher standard if will want to compete with the top 7 or 8 teams next season. UTT. 1
Peter Winthorpe Posted yesterday at 14:23 Posted yesterday at 14:23 Well, many on here were calling for the signing of a quality and experienced hoover and half. So at least the club are of a similar mind, and ever more cover or a replacement a 9 or 7. Maybe the budget doesn't allow for ex super league so grow your own maybe the way we have to go. Shame that we lost Walker who seems to be flourishing down the road. Hopefully Callum stays for another year so we have more options and cover.
The Voodooguru Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Welcome to Town Harry. Looking forward to seeing him in a town jersey. Looks to have a good hard tackle in him, lets hope we can get him acclimatised to Wild West Cumbria quicker than some of the lads that turn up in freezing conditions wondering what they have got themselves into. We have players retiring, players going back to amateur, a super league wish list and we haven't even finished this season yet! I'm sure Brad already has an idea what he wants for next season and who knows who we sign and lose. Even the Jambos at work are in a frenzy already! With his connections in the game I'm sure he will be speaking to plenty of players to work with him. All good news UTT 1 The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!
wonky Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Great news. Hopefully this is alongside Callum at 9 and not instead of as he's been outstanding for 2 seasons now. I'd hope we're still looking for halves as I think both need replacing imo the futures bright, the futures blue and white
