To say I'm peeved and probably not the only one today is an understatement! We thru the game away to be in front for almost 78mins of the game and lose it the way we did was shocking, poor game management let us down who's in charge on the field or who makes the calls 74th min we get a penalty in front of the posts 24-22 up why oh why not take the kick make it 26-22 take 2 mins of the clock, they have to kick back to us then we try run the clock down! Also the penalty that was given after the ball was kicked down field towards the end of the game was a joke batley penalised for holding back there must have been half a dozen tugging at each other and the player held back would have never been anywhere near the ball, the officials were shocking today at least 3 head shots on the trot missed, Newcastle constantly offside I'd like to see the penalty count too, no wonder fordy wasn't happy on his radio interview, although I think he needs to look a bit more interested in the game, I watched fordys reaction when we got the penalty not a flicker out of him, you can bet old Keary would have had those two fingers of his up like lightning had he still been in charge! All in all a good performance by us with the squad we had out but can't help feeling we thru it away! Rant over

First off, was expecting it to be a decent day if we kept Newcork under 40. Tick.

Second, and it's been mentioned elsewhere, game management....less than 7 minutes on the clock, we get a penalty 20 yards out left of the posts, Reynolds' side. Take the 2, 26-22, ball comes back to us, we work upfield then kick them back. Why do we always get so excited with the ball, instead of somebody being able to put the above argument? Then 3 minutes to go, we're under their sticks, same argument for a point, they kick back to us with 2 and a bit minutes for up the jumper stuff. ALWAYS take the points on offer. 

Three, wingers jamming in, their first and winning try went through a massive space, Jonah I think saved us another with a superb man and ball into touch grab.

Four,we tackled like demons, especially when they were expecting to roll us over. Every player regardless of his size disregarded the size of the man running at him, highlighted by Mitch taking down Vunikayaya on his own!

Five, referee; unlike most AND Fordy, I didn't yell at the ref afterwards. Yes, he made a couple of bad calls and it felt as though he was well against us first half but he probably got 95% of calls right overall. The only 2 decisions I could pick clearly were 2 clear forward passes which should have been obvious to him and TJ's which were then compounded by penalties off them from which Yorkastle scored.

Finally, what in earth was going on in the box?? Music blaring during play, no volume half the time, very haphazard and pretty poor.

IF we have a team with that attitude and no more players missing next week Keighley can stay at home.

You guys gave everything today and can be proud of your efforts. That was a really good advert for the Championship. 

I thought the announcer had been on the drink to be honest, would like to think you can do better than that.

I was told it was Danny maun and another guy don't remember his name, that was doing it!

Danny Thomas....the kid who's been doing it, supposedly with previous experience, has been poor, but Sunday was truly appalling. Golden Gamble result anyone?

After many years of mumbled announcements at the Mount  it has made a nice change this season to hear the PA  clearly !! We certainly missed the lad on Sunday
