Now for the big one. Over the past couple of weeks we have been getting ready for this one. Let's be honest win or lose it won't make any difference, London are going up as was the case at the beginning of the season with the fat controller's input (Nigel Wood).

If we can give them a game I'll be happy and not to get anybody injured for the final few games.

Sadly, London by 40. Got to remember they are full time and most of them are NRL players. And we might get Popodopolus as referee!

I would imagine the players themselves knew they've not been at their best over the last couple of games. 

The London game this weekend is somewhat of a free hit therefore. 

Nobody seriously expects oldham to get within 20 points of them, but there's nothing to lose and a huge effort might cause an upset.

Looking forward to it and I actually believe that we'll push them close and, if we can stay on the right side of the ref, might even shade it 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

My misses has booked us in for a meal at the ivy and booked a hotel for our anniversary date night.

She looked proud as punch when she told me we've saved a fortune on the hotel cause she's booked it for a Sunday instead of Saturday..

didn't have the heart to tell her am missing the biggest game of the season for this 🫣😂

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I hope you bloody murder them. Fond memories of Hornets being the team that brought the original Fulham upstarts down to earth when we were the first team to win at Craven Cottage ( Wigan having been the first to lose there😊).

Oldham in straight sets.

Walker back into full back and Nisbet onto the wing for me. Can see Davies playing 6 if Smith isn't quite fit to play. Lannon and Liu back will be a massive boost and really strengthen the pack.

I think if we get a fair share of the ball we will cause them some problems as we've done nearly every game this season. Their sheer size and physicality is unreal for this standard and if we make the same amount of errors as the last couple of games we will really struggle.

I think we'll play really well but London will just have too much power for us to cope over the 80 mins.

London are more or less already promoted, hopefully this is motivation enough for our lads.  Looking forward to it although slightly fearful of a good hiding

Like Killer said there is plenty of rumour that London won’t get promoted. The three promoted teams seem to be strengthening well and it’s clear Huddersfield are being given the green light given their announced improvements at Dewsbury. No way would they exchange Hull FC with London. 
Bur this is Rugby League so who knows

The elephant in the room on all of this is potential NRL investment.

I'd be very interested to see the IMG scores for the bottom half of SL and the top ten of the Championship

I’m always nervous; always pessimistic; I’m an Oldham Rugby fan. I just pray that this isn’t one of these Fax/Fev type games where we build it up then mentally and spectacularly collapse. It’s a test of AK’s progress with the team. The best I can see, given London’s size, speed, full time status, is to push them hard for an hour before they pull away. I just really hope we give a good account of ourselves and the boys walk off with their heads held high, knowing they’ve given their all.

Id love to see DCE in the championship! It wouldnt be the first contract he would renege on.

I think this is what's going to happen.
Last time we earned promotion, we were relegated from Super League before the season started.
Classy.
The idea that people in charge of the RFL have some pro-London agenda is a total myth. (Keighley fans with long memories may disagree.)
