2blackrooks Posted August 20 Author Posted August 20 So it seems the Scottish season has finished abruptly, no grand final no real reason why from the SRL which is typical. Leaving Edinburgh Eagles to post this That's a wrap for 2026 - nearly. If you've been wondering about the Grand Final, the truth is simple: you didn't miss it. It never happened. That's a disappointing way for the season to end and reflects the wider challenges that rugby league (and other sports) continue to face in Scotland. The sport's journey north of the border has never been straightforward, and this season has been another reminder of that reality. What hasn't changed is the dedication of everyone at Eagles. Through every challenge, people continue to show up, put the work in and represent this club with pride. The season isn't completely over though - 7 Eagles players will represent Scotland Club XIII against Ireland this Saturday. Our commitment isn't diminished. In 2027 we'll regroup, rebuild and be ready to go again. Thank you for continuing to be part of the journey. #edinburgh #flylikeaneagle #rugbyleague

We need players to dedicate themselves to completing the RL season
