Second-rower Sam Stone and centre Arron Lindop are also in contention, with the latter having played in the Reserves against Wigan Warriors on Sunday along with full-back Cai Taylor-Wray.

They will announce it when there's something to announce.

Zero point in distractions at this stage of the season. Let's allow Mash and the squad(s) to focus fully on the most important thing and then, when the time is right, I am sure the club will make an announcement. Main thing is that the general outlook appears to be positive.

Kneets having another good dig. A bit unfortunate to go in 8 points down there. Jowitt at 1 with Toa in the centres improves us a lot next season.

Toa made another bad error, but once again our discipline is letting us down. Wire have a bit more pace too.

Agree Andy, but if you give the referee the opportunity to penalise you, then he probably will. We were our own worst enemies again. We got 2 6 agains and coughed the ball up on the first or second tackle. We have no creativity near the line, and e certainly lack the pace that one or two of their players had.

Yes he was, but 11 times out of 10 he'd have got away with it!

Proud of the efforts from everyone, but Warrington's speed at the ruck always had us on the back foot tonight. Unfortunately, the 50/50s, whether it be refs call or bounce of the ball, always then seem to go against us - and then when we do actually get an opportunity with the ball in good field position, we snatch at the chance and turn the ball over cheaply. I know I am probably biased, but we really did seem to get some rough calls - I particularly laughed when Tom Grant shouted "York Ball!" after a 1 on 1 contested tackle late on, then just allowed Warrington a play the ball 10m from our try line. Might have been a correct decision given by the Touch Judge rather than the ref but it did sum the night up for us.

What has happened to Liam Harris?
I assume he is fully fit from the injury he got earlier in the season ? We miss what he brings near the line, not that I think Hunter has done anything wrong.

It’s s going to be tough next week, but I don’t suppose anyone expected Leigh to to beat Leeds. If Bish is fit it might be worth putting him in for Toa who seems a bit out of sorts recently for some reason.

The effort was good once again. First 25 minutes were really good. 

Just gave the ball up a bit easily at times.  Can't do that against any side let alone a top 6 side. 

However don't think we got rub of the green with decision at key moments. Captains challenge and Hunter interception. Think Wire scored both times after the decision. 

A lot comments on Harris asking where he is. Obviously been in the squad but recently we can say we have played better and more consistent without him in there. I think we will see again before end of the season for at least a game unless the rumours are true if he plays one more game he gets his contract triggered for next year?

If the last sentence is true that is a pretty poor way to treat a player who has given such good service to us and won us far more games than if he hadn’t been on the field.

I think we just have a few bruised and tired bodies now. Toa looks shattered and will need a good rest.
 

Same as last week. I don’t think Warrington really got out of 2nd gear. The efforts is there it’s just we make some mistakes just from how tired we are.

Agree about Harris, it’s a shame if he is to leave as I think he’s a good player. Cody has improved a lot over the past few weeks but I still think Harris is on par with him.
