Points difference of +479(785-306).

This could go either way depending on which barrow side turn up im going for Barrow  24- 24 Doncaster att 1500 ish hard to guess as dont play often midweek can't remember the last time

Big ask this on a short turnaround,yes they played Sunday aswel ,but while we were in the grind for most parts they had a cake walk against crusaders.

Very tough game, made even harder by backing up from the Halifax game. Just got to hope they are complacent after the easy win at Crusaders.

A 4-pointer. If we win we'll go 4 points clear of Doncaster, 34 points - 30) and maintain 4th place. If we loose we'll be on equal points, 32 each and drop to 5th.

My research can't find ANY Rugby League Game that was played during an eclipse, not even a partial one and certainly nowhere near 95%.

I thought we played well cant fault the players unfortunate pen near the end cost us a draw would of been a fair result what was the crowd  id guess 1500/1600 i predicted a 24 all draw so close i thought Donny were a good side but we matched them it could of gone either way they had some big lads and were a good side overall abit unlucky tonight Raiders after seeing all the home league games Oldham and Newcastle seem the best sides we have faced Donny good but not as good as the other 2 and Widnes were a good side but Londons the best with Newcastle/Oldham as best 3 sides then Donny Widnes us Sheffield all similar standards

Great game last night. Gutting to lose but at same time I think sometimes after a game like that you just have to appreciate sport. The players looked gutted but huge credit to all the players to put that effort in after a tough game on Sunday. You could see how much some were struggling but they never gave up. 
Broadbent was outstanding, the amount of carries he made kept the team going. 
Bishop was great too, that pass to Bullock for his try was pure class.

Sure someone will have worked it out (and correct me) but I think we should and most likely finish 6th which would mean we will likely play Donny away. If we have another game like last night then we are in for a treat.

Gutted for Luke thought he was outstanding as was bish  and for him to get penalised for the pen(if it was him as I wasn't sure) at the end was cruel .don't agree with the usual suspects calling it a bent decision as it did look like their was head contact .onto Whitehaven,bash them and then see what awaits in the play offs .. looking at the remaining fixtures looks like we'll get an away game in round one against probably Oldham or Donny .but even if dont win that we get a second bite of the cherry .

Without Ritson we lack speed and his ability to create something out of nothing. He averages 1 try per game (some games 2 or 3) which in tight games like last night would have tilted the result in our favour. 

Doncaster were big and strong, but they lacked speed, except for Gebbie.

Tom Walker might be gone for the season too, which is another big blow. Hope Johnstone is OK.

The problem with Johnston is he’s cried wolf too many times and it will always come back to bite you. You could see he was genuinely hurt the other night, looked to me he accidentally got a knee in the back when jumping for the ball. 
The blonde lady fan from Doncaster really made herself look stupid during this time.

It's  not same as playing Saturday or Sunday.  I can still remember a game at Barra in 1981,i worked my dinner hours all week and used them to travel up to watch Rovers. HT 0-12 ,FT 13-12. I was absolutely gutted but had more favourable results since. Last few years made a weekend of it,one of the best away days along with Batley and Dewsbury.

To be fair Broadbent was excellent and he showed what speed can do as he sliced through Doncaster several times. But only he and Toal have any speed in the current side. Sadly Bulman has lost some pace and Teare is not 'speedy'.

I thought it was a brilliant effort so close to the Halifax win. Brodie & Bullock stood out but what a shift from everyone.  Tom Walker didn't look good and Jonno badly shaken up but with a weekend off before players Whitehaven we should have a few back for the derby
