Keighley are easybeats at present. Their players are unsure if there will be a club next season.

We got out of jail with this one, it will be interesting to find out the penalty scores, that's all I'm saying about the referree.

It was nice seeing Bromley Bulldog at the match today.

The superb performance of last week seems more than a week old. Admittedly we got hammered (again) in the penalty count, much of it underserved, which halted any progress we were able to make. Yes, we defended our line terrifically in the first half yet gave away easy tries in the second. Keighley came to play definitely but didn't have any thrust of their own. We earned our team tries, and to our credit grew stronger in the last 15 minutes but even the most ardent fan can say that Keighley weren't marginally better than us. Better is required in the last 2, I suppose that the big win was that Wardy passed his HIA pre-match and we didn't seem to pick up new injuries. Hopefully Rams will be weary after today and a midweek game.

Today ,  we were very sloppy on attack by losing the ball in great attacking positions. Had we taken our chances in the first half we would not have been scraping home in the last minute in the second half ! Had the Hooter gone 30 seconds earlier we were dead in the water through our own doing ! To be fair we did show plenty of fight in the dying minutes of the game but it should not have been necessary !

Yes , the referee made some bad decisions but the truth is that Batley made more of their own !!!

Fair play to Keighley who gave it a good go !

I think on reflection nine oils assessment of the game is just about how I would sum up the game we made hard work of it today! Even though we won today I can't say I felt elated, more deflated we got the win, on what was a poor generally a very poor game!

Too many unforced errors in the first half. Should have had 20+ points on the board at the break. Yes, hammered by officials but our discipline was poor and Keighley played on it. If I were back in Aus I'd have said we played dumb!
