That's what I was thinking, actually 4 if you count Pembo. Why would we need another hooker?

Balmforth is still contracted to Hull for 2027 so no guarantees he's still with us.

What will make us a good SL club will be the quality of our squad players number 21-30. Doyle plays a bit of hooker and loose bit of versatility from a depth piece. Would like to think we haven't dived in and paid overs for a player with a bit of injury history.

very similar to tom inman , can tackle well and play backrow
