This has to be one of the least built up home games against the noisy neighbours for a few years. From the craic at work we are struggling to name a 17, and given that they are currently flying I suppose tells its own story.

I must be mad but surely our players can raise their game, and reduce the errors and give Jonty & Stevie a farewell win cant they? The way this season has panned out we can at least finish the season with something to smile about. We can't defend very well so we will have to score a few to win. I'm going for a very optimistic 31 - 26.

For Stevie & Shacks to end their careers in a game like this is a bit special and both have been excellent for town, and in Shacks case although we had him at his best he has also been very good at Haven. Hope they get the derby game they both deserve to see them off. UTT

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

Probably right about naming 17. We’ve got 26 in the squad and as of last week there was 10 out injured, can’t see Lewthwaite playing given how he was taken off last week which would leave 15. Hopefully we are able to put a team together and try to give Stevie the send off he deserves.

I sadly just can't see us winning. In fact unless jammer has the game of his life I don't think we'll get close. I think our backs (or lack of them) are going to really struggle against an up for it haven.  The forwards should be able to combat them but I just think with no Callum in defence we just won't be able to contain them.

who is fit do we know?
zarrin, tallentire, Evan, Carter, jammer, tee, Stevie, Lucas, bear, Ross, farrer, Jude, Jack ainley, Stephenson, tyce?

Give over, you should walk it. A team motivated to carry their form into the play offs against a team that is already thinking about their holidays and at least half of who won't be here next year. Haven by 20.

A lot of haven players have had to delay their hols or cancel them 😮 it'll only be one match in play offs can't see us getting out off Sheffield

Yeah thats what this guy said it rarely pays, unless you have a limited number of injuries which doesn't happen often

It looks like a lot of SL teams are looking to scrap their reserve teams next season and link with a Championship team instead, in the way York and Newcastle have this season.

I wonder if haven are gonna run with 18/19 then have a link with a team to bolster?

I hate the idea myself but looking at the players Newcastle have been able to call upon this season you can understand why teams will do it

Can't see it marra with the new salary cap next season . I know newcastle won't have anywhere near the team they had this season

Fair play to Town and Haven going with their signed squad wherever possible and using loans only to cover injuries. A lot of teams haven’t this season and it makes the competition less interesting to me.

Sounds like Ross is definitely heading your way and Curtis teare from barrow?

town are going to have to find at least 15 new faces for next season with all the departures. Sounds like they'll be no fetherstone, lawther, Callum, dom, Ross, Mason, tee, Stevie, Donaghy, bear plus more with us, so a complete overhaul is required, and let's be honest after this season, very much needed

Shows how far the initial Super League plans have been watered down i.e. so much to be spent on the grounds , running a reserve and academy team were at one time pre-requisites . Now its spend the lot on mostly Aussies who cant get a game at home or ones who have seen better days .No wonder Great Britain/England cant get any where near the Australian National Team when we invest so little in our own young players .

I was under the impression it was Andrew Bulman coming back to play with his mates.

On a separate note, on Haven's Facebook account, it is saying that Callum Phillips is retiring after Sunday's game. A fantastic servant for both clubs.

Looking like the Rugby community is coming out to show their appreciation for Jonty, Stevie and Callum as tickets sales are extremely healthy.

Looking forward to seeing a good crowd.

Early bird tickets are available at www.townrlfc.com

Kids go free.

Be a great day, with a great music act Gabriella and Jasmine T in the Fanzone marquee post game.

Thank you for your support

Will be to close to call this one, any form goes right out of the window and players retiring will push that extra mile.
