Lewis Hatton

RLW championship player of the month for August. Well done Lewis.

Also an interesting article on Hornets womens team.

Well deserved.

Lewis Hatton might not be the biggest player on the pitch, but what he lacks in inches, he more than makes up for in effort, commitment and sheer determination. No wonder he’s become player of the month.

I think Lewis is fantastic coming off the bench. He arrives with a full tank of energy, throws himself into every drive and runs hard every single time. You know exactly what you’re going to get from him — 100% effort, no messing about.

It’s just a shame he isn’t another six inches taller and about a stone heavier.

Although, having said that… if he was, I reckon he’d be playing Super League by now!

So perhaps we should just keep him as he is. Small, fearless and causing much bigger blokes all sorts of problems.

Proper Hornets player, in my opinion.

Well deserved. He’s been named the Rochdale MoM in the league express, something like, 5 times out of our last 7 or 8 games. He’s been a stand out player throughout our difficult run of away games in particular.
