Wandering pete Posted September 3 Posted September 3 The Dons finished the regular season on an 8 game winning streak with 19 wins/5 defeats to clinch 4 th spot .They were only beaten by 4 sides..Broncos(2),Oldham,Canes and of course..Barrow ..who inflicted their heaviest home defeat(12-36).Their only other home loss being to the Broncos(16-30). Ryan Cox is the merry whistle blower. 1
BarraFan Posted September 6 Posted September 6 what was that? Most of them want stripping out that shirt not good enough end of! Very poor and embarrassing! 1
2Cents Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I honestly feel ( & their pathetic performance showed it) that they wanted to lose, so they can play Sheffield at home rather than travel to Newcastle and been creamed. But IF they do beat Sheffield, the chances are the game after that would be Doncaster away! 1
UpTheRaiders Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Absolutely disgusting result from a very strong squad. Gutless. 1
olray Posted September 6 Posted September 6 If any fans travelled they need there money back. DisgraceĀ 2 1
Raiderfan79 Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Ā shocking must be one of our heaviest defeat in many years 1
2Cents Posted September 6 Posted September 6 72 - 0, was 4th biggest loss ever. Previous 3 were: Leeds 90ā0 Barrow ā 11 February 1990 ā 90-point margin Widnes 78ā0 Barrow ā 27 February 2008 ā 78 points Harlequins 82ā8 Barrow ā 21 May 2006 ā 74 points 1
blue forever Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Sorry but that's been coming. Been so poor in last few months and it's been hidden by beating poor league one sides, and struggling in them games (haven, Rochdale, Dewsbury). Ironically the only game we've looked decent lately was in defeat to Donny at home! The season is definitely petering out and Sheffield will certainly fancy their chances next weekĀ 3
Timmy Streets scrumcap Posted September 6 Posted September 6 filthy performance all round today but i must make special mention for Curtis Teare the most vile effort defensively i've seen in many years of watching the game - it said it all that Watson Boas was actively looking for him in the second half because he knew that Teare didn't want to tackle properly. absolutely no excuses for that defensive performance today and if Crarey has any respect for the rest of the team then Teare will not be starting next week. by no means alone in being ###### today but he was certainly crapper than most 1

I have no idea what was going on (I was at the game working as a photographer), but, it definitely was a poor look. www.donsstats.co.uk - Full results and player stats for Doncaster RLFC from 1951 to the current day. Most arenāt after yesterdayās performanceĀ
Moominman Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Is Curtis Teare on the way back to Haven, as rumoured on the Workington Town forum? If so, mind elsewhere? 1
2Cents Posted September 7 Posted September 7 We seemed so slow and pedantic with the ball and clearly there were huge holes in defence. Their hearts weren't in it. Yes, on paper, we appear to have a solid team but the actual games are played on grass.Ā We have no speed without Ritson and Toal - what's happened to him? Broadbent is our one and only speedster. Good teams have a fast back-line. Like many have said, our halves, especially Walker offer no creativity - that's got to change for next season. Think we punched above our weight this season. Making the final 4 will be a great achievment. 1
