Strangely it's all the players' fault.

No mention of lacking size in the pack, a poor kicking game, subs not used or sat on the bench for most of the game, some players given plenty of game time and others barely any, same game plan for every match...etc

The only way PM will make a decent coach is to take his teeth out and put seats in.
Might be an old joke but it still fits.

Censorship ends in logical completeness when nobody is allowed to read any books except the books that nobody reads.

Seems it was everyone’s fault but his. He needs to grow a pair and have a good look at himself and take responsibility instead of blaming the players.

What happens to the forwards we had at the start of the season? And players leaving with the reason given as work a commitments ! Really.

I’m afraid that bit is almost certainly true.   MS suggested it was a combination of running their own business and the arrival  of babies, the combination of which meant training four nights a week was just too much.    Fully understandable for me.

From what was printed, then can't blame the McShanes or PM.

We'll see who wants to come and play for him next year. That is always a good indication of how a coach is rated in the game.

Come on Mr March. Surprise us all.

I would be so happy for you to prove how wrong I am about you. It would mean I'm not pee ing 20 quid against the wall every I can get to a match.

As I’ve already stated we’ve retained quite a few of the players,Tom Delaney being the latest. Why would they want to stay? Unless they know something we don’t of course 🤔

Players stay for the same reasons many of us stay in our jobs.

They all want to play regular matches. So if you're a first choice player, that's a big factor both playing and earning. Go somewhere else and you might end up training every week, not getting picked and not getting win/losing pay.

Whilst the money at Dewsbury might not be great, at least you're guaranteed to get paid. Bailey O'Connor and Danny Addy know this.

Where else would they go? Batley or Halifax? Only a few would even have a chance of being a regular. Keighley are broke. Goole? Less budget than us. Hunslet?

Travel for training matters as well. Dewsbury is easy to get to with motorways and we have good facilities.

You might like your team mates but not your coach. And you know coaches get sacked.

So there's plenty of reasons why players stay. It doesn't mean it's down to liking the coach.
