Rene_Artois Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I believe we're inaugurating Dons Hall of fame soon. I'd like to make an early nomination for CR7. Absolute club legend

robt Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Also, a random little thing here.. One player was on the pitch for Liam Finn setting the World Record for kicks, and Connor Robinson breaking it for Doncaster. That was, Sam Smeaton, who, despite not being in the squad today, ran the kicking tee on for every one of Connors efforts. 3 1 www.donsstats.co.uk - Full results and player stats for Doncaster RLFC from 1951 to the current day. Jemmo Posted September 6 Posted September 6 The club itself is also on 58 consecutive kicks without missing one...which I think is a record but finding it tricky to confirm

AB Knight Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Well done Connor, he did great at York and always seemed a down to earth genuine guy. That’s two records he has, as he played when York beat West Wales 144-0. 3

Damien Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 (edited) Tricky enough kick to equal the record. Somewhat easier to beat it though: Edited September 7 by Damien
Widnes1989 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 That record is going to stand for some time, you would think.
Snowys Backside Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Brilliant achievement Doesnt matter what League you are in, to kick 50+ in succession is some achievement. 1

Not that I saw the ball go over the posts because the clip was edited to be looked at by dozy people who don't know you can hold a phone in different ways, so many rugby clips are ruined by this obsession for vertical viewing, 1
OriginalMrC Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Has played for Coventry Bears (and against) and has always been remarkable with the boot. This is a brilliant achievement.

Yes. The previous record was 41. The 'record' they're saying was broken, was the Super League record. www.donsstats.co.uk - Full results and player stats for Doncaster RLFC from 1951 to the current day.
